When I look back at the years of my youth, a first I only see typical constituents of a childhood well-lived. I made friends with the children of my neighbors, rode my bike around the neighborhood, took fun excursions to the public park in my development, and did various other “normal” activities for kids. However, when I really think back, I recall something about my childhood that was completely atypical and has stayed ingrained in me throughout the years: my love of science. Since I learned to read I have had an insatiable hunger for knowledge of everything and anything in the universe. It was through science that I was always able to answer my questions. There is always something new to learn, and new questions to be asked.
My interest in science started out small, but I am fairly certain that a 6-year-old obsessed with

In my early years of high school I became interested in computer science—a science that was unlike any other science I had privately researched. I discovered that computers intrigued me as much as the other sciences, and after additional research it became clear to me that I would follow my passion for science and pursue a career in the technology industry. I have always loved the promise of innovation and invention that science guarantees, and I believe there is no better way to assist the world than through technology. Attending college will provide me with the opportunity to transform into the scientist I have always dreamed of. I wish to make a difference in the world, and to become the best version of myself that I can possibly be. I desire to earn the highest form of education in a reputable university and build long-lasting relationships with people from different backgrounds. I truly believe that West Chester University can help me attain all of these aspirations and
My plan is to attend a four year university full time at University of Washington Bothell and major in computer science field because I am passionate about working with technology, and I want to understand how we can continue to draw knowledge from it. In addition, I plan to attend graduate school while working in the computer science field after I finished with my undergraduate school. I want to be able to give back to the society for all the resources it provided me to reach this point in my education and continue working toward fulfilling my life goals. The Intro to Computer Science class at Roosevelt is helping me understand what it takes to be a computer science major student. One thing I learned from the class is that success comes from patience and effort.
As a computer science major, I understand the importance of being able to think critically and creatively, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with others. Wofford College's liberal arts curriculum will provide me with a diverse range of courses in subjects such as literature, philosophy, and history, which will help me develop a broad perspective and cultivate the skills necessary to be successful in the technology industry. Additionally, Wofford College's focus on community and civic engagement aligns with my personal values, and I believe that being part of a supportive community that values service and social responsibility will help me become a well-rounded individual and make a positive impact on the
Waking up at 6:30 in the morning is too much for many high school students, yet I failed to sigh and sulk through the morning. Every day for my first year of high school I got to go to biology, a class I attended with eager anticipation of the biological systems I would be learning about that day. Biology created a beautiful relationship relating the world of living things to the rest of science. The genius was that anybody was capable of discovering information about the world around them. When learning about the simplest concepts such as water, my teacher enlightened the class celebrating how “Water is an enigma!”.
Science, for one session, became fun for these students! I could refer back to this in future
As an ambitious freshman at the University of Arizona, I am full of several ideas of what my future holds academically and professionally. First and foremost, I would enjoy finding a career that revolves around studying the brain. The research being conducted could range from neuropharmacology to the societal stigmas surrounding mental illness. Ultimately, I would like to contribute to how the brain works and positively affect the culture and medical breakthroughs dealing with the brain. This dream has stuck with me for many years and is a key component for my decision at the UA.
A. The Student Teacher As A Growing Professional Areas of Strength (with evidence): In terms of my growth as a growing professional, I have a stronger sense of a "clear commitment to uphold the principles that should govern a democratic and pluralistic community" (Goal 3). I have worked hard to maintain a "authentic, transparent, and honest, " (Goal 4) professional persona. I have tried to respect all members of the education community, and their opinions and ideas.
I would consider myself a good and hard working student. I try my best to get either a G or an E on my report card. After filling in the chart i've noticed how much talking in class can affect my mark. Looking at my mark as a whole my goal is to get a G or an E in independent work.
I was about to enter seventh grade, and my scouting troop deciding to take a two-week trip to Yellowstone National Park. The amount of time that I spent in the park was truly something of a fantasy, since the area is so rich in wildlife and untouched landscape. Constantly being able to observe animals such as bison, pronghorns, bighorn sheep, and elk in their natural abode just made me feel like I was truly myself for a period of time. Throughout my time spent in the wildlife of Yellowstone, I was truly able to reiterate my desire for research and wildlife observation in the future. Even though the desire for zoological interests was something I had a drive for before the trip, the trip sort of made the interest more prolific and prevalent to myself.
The main purpose and goal of education is to strengthen the human mind in developing the skills, the knowledge, and an easier way to learn how to deal with specific life challenges that are faced day to day. Education is not about getting ready for life, education is something that never ends. If someone is educated or not, it is clearly shown because education stands out in every person that has it. Being educated is a gift that goes on for life, because every day there is always something knew to learn about. It is like an endless cycle.
I am who I am today because of my personal heritage. I was born in Peru and at the age of 3 my mom and I came to the United States. Growing up I did not understand why my uncle who played a father figure role in my life, always pushed me academically, mentally, and physically to become the best I can be at a young age. In the other hand, my grandparents will call every night sounding worried about my mom and I. In addition, my mother will always tell me “today is going to be a good day” as I headed to school every morning.
I believe my best ATL is self-management. Ever since I was young, I have always been on top of things and the ability to push myself. People would always tell me what I can and cannot do. I never listened to them. I learned to push myself over the limit until I reached my goal.
Throughout my life, the three interests of educating myself about different mediums of art, using new mediums for creative storytelling, and applying my knowledge of computer science to new technologies have always conflicted for my attention and focus in various ways that contribute to my life goals and personal characteristics. Some of the mediums I have studied and developed projects for include film, animated novels, video games, and virtual reality. I am fascinated by fictional stories based on interesting people and places, and I desire to extend the scope of my education to understand a broad range of art and media technologies in order to apply my interests toward more creative storytelling on new mediums. My interest in computer science
There are countless business-oriented careers and finances. That is why my studies and professional development have been motivated with the intention of developing largely all the skills necessary to get a position in the area of logistics. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the logistics are responsible basically to manage the life cycle of a product from the time of acquisition, distribution, dispensing and delivery (2015, December). So basically, they analyze and coordinate the supply chain of a product from the supplier or manufacturer to customers.

One of the most serious problems affecting society today is the wide variety of acute health conditions including cardiac arrest, heart attacks, allergic reactions, and contagious diseases among many others. These conditions affect hundreds of thousands of people around the world every single day, and I, as a soon to be emergency physician, would dedicate my life to be the person who helps patients fight through these conditions, and fight for better health regulations, as well as better education of healthier lifestyles so people can avoid many of these conditions. The field that interests me the most is called Emergency medicine, a specialization in medicine that has a big effect in society, it is the second level of the EMS system that treats patients ranging from simple things such as a simple infection, to a trauma patient, emergency physicians provide the care that stabilizes the patients for specialized care and in some cases even treat their condition.
