****I knew my junior year of high school what I wanted to do the rest of my life. Stage Manage. I have done theatre from a young age, but it wasn't until I reached high school that I shifted to technical theatre. I want to stage manage because unlike some people I am not searching for wealth, success or recognition. I am looking for happiness.
Most students have an identity, an interest, or a talent that defines them in an essential way, Star Wars has defined me as a person growing up, i’ve always brought an image in my head of pure happiness. Star Wars has always been a big influence from a kid to now being 19. From collecting lucasfilm toys and watching the movies with the family every weekend. It makes me think of my wonderful family. It all started with my grandma, she started to collect star wars things and as she went on my dad got into it, watching the trilogy with the family waiting for the next movie to come out the following summer.
1 My love for science grew when I began watching the children's TV show "Backyard Science" when 2 I was 8. The show had a great impact on me as I was determined to carry out some of the 3 Science experiments at home with my siblings. Being successful in my attempt of a simple 4 experiment such as the backyard rocket led me to thinking how great inventors like Thomas Alva 5 Edison must have felt after 1000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb. That was 6 when I learnt that invention and innovation is all about being passionate, curious, patient 7 and believing in miracles. 8 I found my A-levels subjects to be more of a necessity than an option.

From its popular guest stars, to its never-ending merchandise, The Simpsons is everywhere. Over a quarter of a century, The Simpsons has largely influenced pop culture with its rich and entertaining history. All shows begin with a humble idea, and The Simpsons is no exception. Matt Groening, the series’ creator, was working on a simple comic called “Life in Hell”, about a rabbit family (De La Roca 1). In 1987, he was set to pitch an idea to Jim Brooks, an executive at the Fox network, about a group of short animated sketches to be played during the newly created Tracey Ullman Show (De La Roca 1), and was going to use his rabbit comic, but decided against it (Fox would gain the rights of whatever he created).
Rashford also is teaming up with Alfred to see what else is out there in our obscure universe. Rashford being a very imaginative person started to think of a new place to explore one day when he was just playing with his little Nasa astronaut action figures when he was little passed down from generation to generation.
Film Evaluation Gladiator When I first saw the movie Gladiator, I was in high school history class and it had to relate to ancient Rome. The class and I watched the movie, and I personally enjoyed it so much that I went home and watched it again on my free time. My boyfriend and I even recorded it and watched it very often. This movie was directed so well, the setting, summary, actors, and even the costumes were just perfect. For the main characters, Maximus and Commodus, their story and acting was perfect as well.
As a team member I was able to present myself and was able to put my views and ideas. This project helped me to understand myself better and I realised that I can work in any situation with anyone. I will always try to work in similar collaborative approach and try to improvise myself. It was a good learning opportunity for me. I have gained experience and skills from my teammates during the project.
“I dream for a living” (Steven Spielberg) Steven Allan Spielberg is one of the most famous directors for hollywood of all time. As a young boy, age 10, he grabbed his father’s camcorder and began to make his own movies. His first one, firelight, which cost $500 to make, was about an alien encounter. Things only got better from there. He made it into a college and got a degree and went off to direct movies for Universal Studios at a very young age.
In middle school, the graduating eighth grade class from my school attended Gradventure at Universal Studios. I had gone through three years of middle school and made a ton of friends. I was happy to be going to Universal for the first time ever with my best friends and favorite teachers. Of course, I had high hopes for the famous park – The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Marvel’s Superhero Island and The Mummy – each stemmed from famous movies and books which left me excited. That day was a Friday.
