Although having the freedom to put any belonging in lockers, it would be an advantage to have locker searches. If there was an adolescent that was putting certain possessions of theirs that were horrific to be on a school campus then there would be nothing you could do unless they had locker searchers. If there were a fellow student that had a firearm in their locker, would it be essential that administrators search the lockers in order to diffuse a dangerous encounter that takes the lives of students?
Saltillo High School no longer assigns lockers to students, but it should. Students will often have multiple books and binders to carry home every day in their bags resulting in a sore back and shoulders from the strain of the heavy backpack. The lockers are already in place, so allowing the students to use them would not cost the school any money. There really is no reason why the students should not be able to have access to them.
Some students actually buy those books for their classes, some students rent them from the bookstore and other students get them from online retailers, which is less expensive. However, not all the teachers take topics from the books after the semester start neither during the semester. There is no point to buy books if the teacher is not going to take topics from there and there is no reason for students to buy a textbook and spent money that could have a better use of. Having a textbook and actually using it in this class (ENG102) was very
Students not being used to freedom, for example, causes them to not be prepared for the over amount of freedom given during college. This leads kids to put off homework, not go to class, and other bad habits because they are not used to managing their time. These habits can lead to an unsuccessful college carrer, eventually leading to dropping out. A second example at the meso level is students getting caught up in partying on the weekends or even during the week. For a lot of students, being away from their parents means absolute freedom to do whatever they want, allowing a lot of young adults to “go crazy” in the partying scene.
Noted author, Stephen Covey offers uses the story of a bamboo plant to offer advice. The story taught me to be more patient with several stuff and try not to rush on the work the teacher assigns. For example, if the teacher is not in class on time, wait a few more minutes and do not go so far ahead on your schoolwork unless the teacher says that it is ok to do so. Patience is important in college because you do not know what might happen if you are not patient at all. Being impatient might ruin your chance to graduate college if you just think that it would be easy, well, that is not true at all.
After I had used the restroom, I stepped out of the bathroom and made sure to look behind my back, to make sure the substitute teacher wasn’t following me. I went down the hallway, which felt longer than usual. I had a weird voice in the back of my head saying “ I don’t think this is an exquisite idea.” Like I usually do I ignored it because I like to live in the moment, no just kidding; I’m just not that bright. So when I got to the science classroom door, I slowly opened it to make sure no one was in the room.
I could place all the blame on the mistakes I made freshman year but that would not help change that I fell short of my goal twice. Instead I had to accept that my hard work was not hard enough and my endeavors were not my earnest. If I had the knowledge and skills that I have now back when I was a freshman, I would have had a higher chance at being a part of National Honor Society. The reality is that I cannot change what I did or did not do three years ago.
So many people graduate from high school without learn all the important knowledge offered during this educational period. Low levels in reading and writing would affect the student’s performance when their start college education. In order to succeed in any mayor in college it is fundamental to read and write properly. Therefore developmental classes as ENF1 and ENFE2 are necessary to improve, development and enhance writing and reading skills.
Should middle school students have recess? Middle school students should not have recess at all. This is because they need to grow and mature, they could get distracted from their missing work, and there is more of a chance to get hurt. You may think differently, but there is no denying the facts that prove my opinion. Middle school is a time in a kids life where they have more responsibilities, yet still are allowed to be a child.
I am in the middle of my freshmen year as I write this Narrative. Now, that you are reading this I am a sophomore and you are a freshmen. I will be telling you what you can do to make your year or years better here at NorthView High School. I remember thinking it was going to be scary I thought I wasn’t going to have that many friends. But, the truth is Middle school and High school is not that different then you think.
Thus, they will effectively create a barrier to discourage the offenders from getting to class or going back home. My solution may not be popular with some students, but I think it may raise students’ grade point averages who will get to class on time, and thus gain valuable instruction time. Fewer hallway traffic jams will also result in fewer tardies by clearing the hallways for students who believe passing periods if for travelling to other classes, not engaging in long conversations with friends or checking your phone while blocking the hallway. Let’s eliminate hallway traffic jams, as we must focus on our future and not
Some adolescents never learn how to effectively manage conflicts, have the ability to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy relationships and raise their self-esteem. In addition to social and emotional issues, some adolescents may not have support from home, which could help balance the problems at school. I believe schools should incorporate a social and emotional component or curriculum that could help guide students during the adolescent stage. My personal experience led me to wonder how beneficial it would be for urban middle school students to belong to a program or social group or have exposure to a curriculum that helps them navigate this rapid change in
Finally, you should side with Dr. Huxtable because he has more experience and knows more about how you should use and what you should and should not spend it on than Theo. Those are all of the examples and reasonings why you should side with Dr. Huxtable and not Theo also why you should do good during high school so if your mind changes, and you do want to go to college and get further
Therefore, students should have the chance to finish things that they haven 't finished that is school work. This might seem silly, but it 's true some kids don 't finish most of their work in school, but the day the district is giving kids a day off every week is really helpful for everyone. I find school fun, but things could get out of hand when you get concentrated too much in school work that stresses out kids. The school district is very important and they have the money to give us school items and laptops to help us with our education and keep learning new things and vocabulary words. This doesn 't have nothing to do with it, but the district could save hundreds of dollars when kids are not in school because they food that they give us kids cost money and when kids are not in school we save money because there is no one to give things because they aren '
There is a lot of things you can do to avoid making some of the mistakes I made and lots of others made before you. As mentioned before, try to keep in mind everyone is not your friend, don 't be afraid to ask questions in class, try to stay calm in most situations, and also, try your best not to have a baby while you are in high school. A lot of people feel like high school makes or breaks their life and it does for some that let it but it 's just beginning of your life. Not saying you will not have some of the most exhilarating times or the most frightening experiences I 'm just saying use them as learning experiences and don
