The main reason I am attending college, is to obtain my degree and start working in a profession that I enjoy and exceed in. I am looking forward to finally being in a place where I am happy to be. Where I feel I can contribute and be heard. To have a voice, and to have people really hear you is a great feeling. Even better when it helps others and helps you to feel better about yourself and what you are doing. I also look forward to being able to support myself and someday a family. Working hard is something I 've always pushed myself to do. Getting a degree, getting the job of my dreams, and being happy at that job is just a few things I work hard for everyday while going to school. One of the main reasons to obtain a college education is the hope of using it to find a job that will enable them to live a comfortable life with a financially secured future. Students who play college basketball should be required to graduate college before going on to the NBA because of jobs, commitment, and experience. First, if the NBA doesn't work out for athletes they are stuck without a job.
Going to College I think college will be stricter than high school. Stressful, more responsibility, the lifestyle is different. Theme I think money is big dill because if you do something to get in trouble and take you out four a whole year.
Personal Statement (What I'm all About) Do you ever ask yourself what people see in you? Maybe even what your going to bring into college that will benefit the school and yourself? There's always a ton of questions that people always ask or get asked about college during Christmas and Thanksgiving time that you never know the answer to. Many people don’t know the answer on what is going to happen after highschool, but I already know what I’m going to do when I’m done with this last year of school. I have a lot to offer the college that I would like to go.
Overall, I wish to attend college to better all aspects of my life. I desire to maximize my potential and work ethic to become better. Being a first generation student will not be easy, for I have no one to tell me about experiences. I am very proud and honored to tell people that I am in college.

Growing up in rural Texas, I was the oldest of five and seen as the head of my family while my parents were working hard to pay the bills. Having that type of responsibility made me feel good as the leader of all my siblings, but in a lot of ways it was one of the main reasons I decided not to further my education after high school, considering I was helping to make sure all my other siblings also made it through school. Although I put off college for a long while, I have been inspired to attend Strayer to obtain and dissect my professor’s knowledge, discover any hidden skills, and elevate in the business world, ultimately changing a huge part of my life. Starting a family with my fiancé, to me begins with having a secure Financial understanding. Being the supervisor at FedEx along with my Boss, I feel I make a decent amount of money to support my fiancé and my step children, but when I think of all the opportunities that come along with owning a business, I know for sure that I will increase my income.
Why did you decide to go to college? The reason for my decision to enter college is because it is a way of expanding my knowledge; furthermore, to gain an opportunity for a bright future. College can be gateway to unlock new opportunities, discovering your passions, and exploring your career options; for example, if I am undecided and want to expand my options or I may know my career choice but I don’t know how to start my career, college can solve my solution.

In the United States college tuition fees have skyrocketed within the past 50 years which has resulted in many intelligent young people becoming unmotivated because the stress of finances has become overbearing. College has always been a necessary and vital step in my life that I have to take. Since being a child, through adolescence and being a young adult I have been told and taught the importance of going to college and furthering my education. Despite the fact that my future objectives career wise are still unclear I do have plans with how I want to carry out the near future. When I was younger, I never planned to go to college in the state of Wisconsin. I absolutely did not want to apply to any colleges around here, because I wanted to get as far away from here as absolutely possible. That changed the summer of my junior year. I went to the Morgridge Institute Summer Science Camp. I did not go in expecting much.
