Staying healthy and being active is an important aspect of my life because it boosts my self-esteem. My family loves watching me play, almost as much as I love playing. They are my biggest supporters and make me feel important when I see them in the stands.
There have been instances where I found it difficult to forgive people that hurt me for a while, but I worked continuously towards pardoning them. Due to the fact that I worked at it, I do not believe that it is unhealthy that it took a few years. Morrie, though, presents the idea, that we should forgive rather quickly, putting aside our pride, because you may come to regret petty grudges in the
I’m very proud with my character I have shown. Outstanding character to me is being responsible, honest, and generous. As I feel happy helping others out with a subject they may struggle with. Now I don 't just apply my character at school, but also outside in the community. Personally I feel that it’s important to give back to communities.
That I have this dedication, this need for things to be a certain way, as a perfectionist would, but my methods are far from “perfect”. They tell me I’m comfortable to be around, and have open ears to whoever wants to talk, even if I don’t know a thing, or even care about the subject matter. My words are well thought out, and insightful, and I appreciate the connection of the little things. Yet I couldn’t think of anything that I am. So after hours of talking to myself out loud, and making jokes; I was ready to give up.
The things about my strengths are they come from my personalities. I don’t think it will be hard to maintain these personalities. However to be able to remain calm I have to learn to deal with things in critical condition. My calmness come because I have dealt with many things in critical conditioned. So my past experience is what really makes me a calm person.
7.1 Strengths and weaknesses Before starting the internship I had to evaluate my personal strengths and weaknesses. My strengths are that I am a very flexible person. I quickly adapt to new situations and tasks. Another strength is receiving feedback. This is never a problem for me and I am eager to hear feedback in order to apply this in my work.
Education has always been an important part of my life, I have always had a certain admiration and value for it. College has not actually transformed my way of thinking, if anything it only reinforced it. A book that challenged and made me deeply acknowledge education and my life was, The Last Lecture, by Randy Paush. The quotes and lessons in this book have truly resonated with me and taught me about living. The lecture stressed the importance of overcoming difficulties, seizing every moment, and supporting the dreams of others.
As said before, going with the flow is what I like to do and I think that being a versatile person fits right into that, which means being adaptable to many situations. Being independent comes with growing up and learning to be self reliant, as I continue to learn throughout my journey in High School. Having independence is a great assurance for me because I am in control of my life, no one else is making my big decisions, this life is mine and I control the destiny of it. I can be described in many words but these three words I can go on and on
My intention has always been to stay at the same instruction because it has not only made me grow professionally but it has also led me to many opportunities in my professional goals. Throughout my undergraduate years, I have experience, achieve, and learn many things. More importantly, in the past few years, I have come to realize my doing in life is to do what I do best which also brings me the best joy. As I stated before, that joy comes from helping the vulnerable and being the voice that they need. I know this challenges will not be easy but I’m confident in my abilities to complete this degree which will ultimately lead to making an even bigger impact in the lives many students and
During my entire school year starting from freshman year and ending it now at senior year; I have always enjoyed helping others. When I volunteer, I go out my way to help out others who are involved in organization or even the ones who are doing everyday things. Many of my friends may see it as uncool or wack, but I see it as building character and work ethic up. If there is a person in need of assistance with their groceries, cleaning, crossing the street, or more; I will be their to help that person out. This will help me out in the long run with college and everyday life.
Even though we completed this assignment at the beginning of the term, I still was able to learn from it as the term progressed. Throughout the other assignments I still had minor mistakes within my annotation but I believe towards the end I began to understand the concept more when I
I am evolved with volunteering at various events through the Interact club here at MHS. By volunteering within the town it gives me good morals. It teaches me to always give back to my community, but it is rewarding to help people in need. My leadership skills shines when I babysit. It is a huge responsibility to make sure a child, or sometimes an infant is safe at all times.
What makes me a good candidate for the job is that I am honest, reliable, friendly, hardworking, always willing to learn and expand my skills and knowledge. Even though, I have no work experience I believed Chick-fil-A is a place where it would be a positive challenge for me which would further my experience for the future. I am very fast learner and I am really motivated to work hard. I have spent a lot of time volunteering at Give Kids the World/Key Club which has given me a good idea of what it is like to be part of a team. I work well with others and I am able to provide quick, friendly, accurate service and providing quality service and hospitality to your guests.
As for the teachers themselves, they are always supportive to their students and help students to achieve their goals. The future of the program would stay the same, the goal would still be to make the youth respectful and productive members of society. Students benefit greatly from being in the JROTC class. That I have proven in this essay. Take it from the cadets themselves, this class has given them the opportunity to get a lot of community hours and a lot of fun opportunities that other classes don
The appreciation you receive makes it all the work worth the time and trouble. In addition, when your own motivation is what drives you, success is not a challenge in the slightest. NJHS gives opportunities unlike any other organization that our school provides for us and I am glad to be a part of such a prestigious group of intelligent young adults. The values imparted to me will stick with me for my entire life and the wisdom I have gained will aid me and guide me in everything I do. I greatly appreciate your consideration and look forward to having the chance to have an impact on others’
