Should the State Euthanize Dogs for Biting Dogs that bite people are getting euthanized. Sure they shouldn’t be given to children if they are snapping at people, but think about the innocent lives taken away. Dogs who were saints, whom might have accidently bitten someone thinking that person might be hurting someone, are being taken away to be killed, leaving children devastated. There is an issue, stating whether the state should euthanize dogs for hurting people.
Dog Fighting In the world of dog fighting, the players fight alone. A sport designed to kill; even a winner is a loser. While freedom seems like a distant dream, those who escape are permanently scarred. Emotionally and physically, a fighter dog is always traumatized from this inhumane treatment.
We can put all these rules into affect and try to stop it in every way that we can, but who's to say it will actually stop? Getting rid of a certain fighting breed, giving dog breeders and animal shelters ways to look for signs of people that fight dogs, and start making it mandatory for dogs to be microchipped are all great ways to prevent the fighting of dogs. The dog fights may not ever go away, but there is a a chance that it could decrease significantly if we put these rules into affect. Dogs don't deserve to be treated like play toys to just hurt and abuse for no reason, dogs are supposed to be loved and cared for. Having a dog is a privilege not a right.
Have you ever been bit by a dog and thought it was mean? Come to find out, it is very possible it’s not mean at all. Many facts show that dogs bite in many different scenarios. It’s not that they are mean, it could be how they were raised, them feeling threatened, or even low tolerance. There are many statements that prove that the dogs should not be executed for biting someone when it could possibly be our fault as a owner.
Most of them compare animal testing to racism or sexism. According to these activists, all animal deserve respect and should not suffer for any reason. And I agree with them because the vast majority of experiments using animals are so invasive and damaging. These poor animals do not willingly sacrifice themselves for the advancement of human welfare and new technology. Sadly, everyday animals' rights are violated when they are used in experiments because they are not given a
Why are Pitbulls Disliked in the United States? Every year about 40% of dogs that are euthanized are pitbulls. Pit bulls are being banned in certain cities and even states. They are portrayed to be aggressive animals. Just the sight of a pit bull has people terrified and worried they will be attacked.
The most egregious unethical practice towards animals would be Animal Testing! I believe this is the worst because it is completely unnecessary. Medical testing is preformed on animals because the are most closely related to humans. However if these animals are really like us, how can we in good conscience allow them to suffer. Science has already proved that animals think, experience emotion, and feel pain.
According to DoSomething.org, “Over 100 million animals are burned, crippled, poisoned, and abused in US labs every year.” Also, it is said that all 50 states have animal cruelty laws and it is also counted as a “felony provision” but, how is burning, crippling, poisoning, and abusing can be counted for as animal cruelty (Humanesociety.org). Animals sit there feeling petrified while scientist pinch and poke them, they wait until a burning sensation begins to go throughout their eyes and the pain slowly increases. Also, during these experiments the scientists often use restraining equipment in order to prevent the animal to stop moving. Some experiments just call for part of the body to be immobilized while others call for the entire body(Neavs.org).
On a daily basis, about “7,000 pets are killed by their abusers”. People have to accept the fact that commercials on the television and little campaigns every now and then are not going to change that. The way we are dealing with this now is not at all the correct or most efficient way to do this. This abuse is in-human. Tell me, what is the difference between a human’s life and a dog’s life?
These animals should be taken to animal shelters and taken away from the people who beat them and make them fight. If you ever see a dog walking on the side of the road and it looks like its malnurited then you should do it a favor and take
For example, People can walk their dogs on a leash, who are also categorized as “aggressive dogs” and everyone wants to pet them and love on them. They don’t want them to be euthanized just because they look fluffy and cute. When people walk around with pit bulls, also on a leash, people want nothing to do with them because of how they
Puppy mills have been in America for decades. With time they are growing larger and becoming more popular. The United States Department of Agriculture is allowing this, and paying no attention the ongoing suffrage of animals under their watch. The easy and obvious fix to this issue is simply changing the standards that mills work by. This means that the horrible conditions that animals live their entire lives in would drastically change.
The fact that the inhumane sport of dog fighting exists in this country isn’t news to many of us. We’ve been aware of dog fighting for perhaps many years, but knowing that it’s simply bad doesn’t help the animals in need. Have any of us genuinely tried to do anything about the violence? Something I’ve noticed is that humans have a nasty habit of being remarkably self-centered. In all honesty, I’m guilty of it, too.
Animal Abuse in Slaughterhouses Jacqi Diffley English 11R D. Hayden April 8, 2016 Diffley1 It will take approximately 2 minutes to read this paper and in that time 360,000 animals will be killed to feed our greedy society. "Over 56 billion farm animals are killed every year by humans and more than 3,000 animals die every second in slaughterhouses around the world"(HFA). Animals should not be treated like objects, like humans, animals have the ability to think, they strive to live, they can show emotions, they can make connections and they certainly can feel pain.
