In the article “Is a College Education Worth It” by Henry Punionion he encapsulates the essence of the importance of a college education. Primarily, a college education can ensure you greater productivity in your life and you will not be as stressed trying to find a job that will not give you the pay that
With college you don't just study for a career, you study for something that you would like to do for your life. You don't have to know right away, but don't miss out on the value that college can bring you. In the article "Actually, College Is Very Much Worth It" by Andrew J. Rotherham, the author states,"College graduates are also more likely to be in jobs with better benefits, further widening the divide" (Rotherham 80). Having a better job and a better salary is good in many ways as to being able to pay for more like a car, house, and maybe kids. Money is a struggle for a lot of people and if you go to college you get an advantage to getting more money.
In the long run it is better for the economy. As stated before, the proposal creates more job opportunities which encourage economic growth. In addition to the great aid the proposal offers economically, it also offers vast social prosperity. Many of the people attending community college are very ambitious and are very affable. The environment in a community college is very sociable which advocates a better education.
There are many reasons to go to college. I would like to get higher education, have more opportunity and start a tradition in my family. One reason for attending college is higher education because people with higher level of that tend to have better job security, so stay ahead of unemployment curve, hopefully with a job or the ability to get one. If I have college education I will make more money which in turn will enable I have a better lifestyle. I go to college to have more opportunity about my skills, my knowledge base and expose me to a whole new world of learning .this is a reason I go to college not to make more money but gain he knowledge and it can help me quality in fields I am interested in.
In order to have a higher paying job, have your dream career, and have more job opportunities ,you should attend a college that you would benefit from. Thus going to college is more beneficial than not going because various advantages come along with a college
College should not be a debt sentence for people who just want to further their education. After going to college, people should want to enhance the community that they are in. If state-owned colleges were free more people would be able to attend. By making our state colleges free, we are making education more accessible and affordable to our society, which can only benefit us. I mean let’s face it when you have more people in college who want to be there to further their education, and make our community a better place, that is only beneficial to us.
Firstly, college should be granted to students freely because it will encourage them to concentrate on their educations. Some college students are working part-time jobs and are full-time students. Perhaps, working through college will not always cover all of a student's education expenses including books, supplies, room and board. If free tuition is given, students will have further time to educate themselves. Moreover, college tuition and prices are at an all-time high.
Why Should People Attend College… Many people attend college but don’t understand all that comes with the benefit of attending college. There are people that don’t get the opportunity to attend college because of many reasons like having kids early, financial issues, and some just believe they are not smart enough to really make it. Though I don’t find the last excuse a valid enough reason to not attend school, a lot of people use that excuse to justify why they are not going to school. But let me just tell you, you are truly missing out on a great college experience and all the good things college must offer due to you not attending. The many good things college must offer is it broadens your horizon, helps you network, better opportunities,
Loans allow receiving a college education seem like a smoother process considering that such a hefty amount to pay is divided so that it can be paid for in moderation. Despite the fact that it’s split into many payments, it’s still a large quantity all in all so unless indebted students aim for high income jobs, there would many years of difficulty to come after college. For this reason, undergraduates make it their goal to go after jobs which would prevent them from being constantly pressured to pay off debt. Thus, student debt is both a crisis and a reason to encourage persistence towards greater ambitions (Hillman, 41). It is a tremendous thing when a student seeks to be financially comfortable or even rich in the future but not when it is for the wrong reasons.
The second question can be a little more complicated because everyone has their own reasons, and now, I will tell you my reasons for why college is important. The reasons that college is important to me are the college experience and job availability. When I say job availability, I’m not saying that you can’t get a job without a college education, but it is increasingly easier to get a job with one. In most cases, in order to be competitive in getting jobs like doctors, architects, and scientists, but in other cases, it pays to have some sort of college education, because someone with a college degree is more likely to get hired for a job than someone who doesn’t have a degree. Those with a college education are usually paid more than those without a college education and you don’t need stats to figure this one out.
Do I think college is right for everyone? No. However, I do see the value college has to offer. Though, you might not be able to make much more per hour, than say an employee with a high school education. But, college allows you to get the job before the applicant without the degree does.
