Rob and Leo were two brothers who always was itching for an adventure. Both were young and outgoing thrill seekers and both also were on the brink of a discover that would change the world. You see, Rob and Leo both had wanted to do the same thing ever since they were kids, travel and explore the world. One day two men came up to them and asked if they were ready for an exclusive trip that is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Of course, both of them said yes without even knowing what the adventure was. All they were thinking about was the chance to go on an adventure. This adventure was their first and most possibly could be the last. They started talking the mysterious men. They wanted to know what the trip was about and what they would …show more content…
“Yes, we are,” replied both Rob and Leo. “Perfect, now are you ready to learn about your trip?” Replied the man. Both the brothers nodded in agreement, excited to finally learn about this trip that they are going on. The man, who they learned later was named Jack, would also be coming along with them on this trip. The three of them would be exploring a hole that appeared in the land, the hole, which is presumed to lead somewhere, was assigned to be explored by the government of the area. The trio, Rob, Leo, and Jack were set to depart for the uncharted land as soon as morning comes. The three board a helicopter as soon as morning breaks and that marks the start of their journey to the uncharted land of the mysterious hole. They spot the hole and their breathe is taken away. The hole had to be 200 feet in length and at least a 100 in height. As they get closer and closer to the hole they talk among themselves, trying to conjure up an idea of what could have possibly made this enormous …show more content…
They start making their way to the hole and when the get there they peer over the edge and into it. It looks like there would only be one way down, the way the land had made it for them. They would have to go down the ramp like structure that the fallen rocks and soil had made for them. Sooner than expected, the ramp flattens out into perfectly flat land. They are confused as to why it is so flat but decide to go on throughout the tunnel. They start traversing the tunnel and in about half an hour they see light ahead. They decide to quicken up the pace, however, in a few feet they see something that catches them on edge and leaves them scared. The ground had started to get muddy and slippery and in the mud they see a very well-made dinosaur footprint. As kids they have seen this footprint many times in movies, it was a Tyrannosaurus Rex. They are really scared now. There are two ways that this footprint could be in the mud like this. Either someone could have beaten them here and could have come and found this footprint then made it wet by putting water on it or the scary version, a T-Rex could be down here. Now, of course they think themselves as crazy for even thinking the second option. Dinosaurs have been extinct for millions of years. But they keep the idea to themselves just for the possibility that dinosaurs could still
Because most people reject the fact that bigfoot is so called real. This is because multiple people have spent time making people believe that Bigfoot is real. Little did the
Reading Log – 2 1. Pages 87-171, read on 1.19.18; characters involved: Imogene Scott, Lindy Scott, Chad Price, Jeremy White, Lillian Eugene, Omar, Mike, Pari Singh. 2. In the books The Mystery of Hollow Places by Rebecca Podos, the theme that is taking the most shape is self-discovery. Throughout these 6 chapters, it has the most evidence and support through the pages.
Ken Ham proudly supports this theory by many displays of dinosaurs in the museum to remind Christians of this theory in Genesis. Bill Nye makes a a spectacle out of this theory, Again, Bill Nye discusses about dinosaur fossils dated back millions of years ago and to go visit secular
“Are we there yet.” said Miguel, “ We’ve been traveling for hours.” “Hold your horses, just another hour.” replied Sarah. “As long as this trip lasted it better be worth it.” Steve whispered.
Why do so many people not believe in sensational subjects such as bigfoot? Because such a huge animal like that would surely at least leave some evidence behind, and then there's the fact that there can't just be one bigfoot or mythical creature everyone claims to see. There would theoretically have to be more than one. Although we all might like to believe in the possibility of such creatures, why would you actively believe that there are mythical beings out there without proof? Although there are some people that are quite naive and will easily believe such things without any proof whatsoever.
Several eyewitness accounts believe they sincerely saw Bigfoot. Yes, there is evidence going against Bigfoot and for him, but my opinion doesn’t change. It’s possible that he exists, but who has the say in whether he does or doesn’t. The world allows us some type of mystery and if this is what gives some people hope and happiness in believing then why discourage
The boys had to take the subway by themselves, not knowing where to go. For example, in paragraph #43, the author says, “On the subway platform, we realized we did not know which station we were heading for.” They thought the subway map was a blown up noodle factory. They then had to walk the rest of the way to New Jersey. In paragraph #83, Max pulls out his compass and says, “North is that way.”
There isn 't a possible way something so big could hide from the such a populated world. Another big reason why bigfoot is fake is because the most common form of evidence is by far video or eyewitness reports. This is a very unreliable type of evidence, ether in the video, "Bigfoot" can be
Many people can swear they seen something but in reality was never there. Pareidolia is a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus (often an image or sound) being perceived as significant. Also people will say they saw anything to make a quick buck or for a few seconds of fame. Bigfoot also known as Sasquatch, is a giant ape-like creature that is said to roam the Pacific Northwest. Most “sightings” of Bigfoot occur in the Northwest, but there have been many accusations of his presence all over the country.
According to the text, “But here, in our tunnel, we feel [fear] no longer. The air is pure under the ground.
Once they are in the past and see the Tyrannosaurus Ray Bradbury uses imagery to explain what the dinosaur looks like. The Tyrannosaurus was described as, “...thirty feet above half the trees, a great evil of god, folding its delicate watchmaker’s
When they reached the bottom of the crater, which was 400,000 feet tall, they spotted a white figure in the distance. It was cloudy and overcast so it was hard for them to see. So Liam and Chase grabbed their survival kits and headed towards the figure. It was a long and tortuous journey towards the unknown figure.
So they took Gerta’s fathers idea. They started to build the tunnel. It was a challenge for them, but they did end up finishing it. Gerta and her family sneaked into the tunnel and finally got to be with her father and her brother. Gerta did not want to tell anyone about the tunnel until the next
(Sachar 5) Stanley, a protagonist in the novel “Holes” by Louis Sacher, changes . Stanley shows a hopeful, yet stressful kind of person. Stanley shows perseverance from beginning to end in the novel “Holes”. The author demonstrates when it states, “He tried to jam it into the earth, but the blade banged against the ground..”
My hypothesis was correct because more water came out of the lowest hole. This hole probably had the most water pressure, which is why more water came out of the hole. It also had the longest stream length in the entire experiment. The hole that always produced the least amount of water was the highest hole, in the entire experiment. Based on my results, I think the water pressure is on the dam wall is greater at the bottom of the wall than at the middle or the top of the wall.
