Bullying has been around for along time and over the years has gotten worse. Some states are considering laws against it, many people think that it shouldn’t become a law because they think the child’s parents should deal with it but some teens don’t listen to parents and don’t take it as a big deal. Eventually bullying can lead to suicide, revenge, and could even have affects on teens education. It shows in studies that in seven minutes people are getting bullied. Suicide happens from the ages of fifteen to twenty, four people have committed suicide in 2005 because of being bullied. Bullying is a widespread in all American schools and is affecting education for many students. 8% of students miss a day of class or more per month because of the fear of bullies When bullying effects a students education in a negative way something needs to be done or you can see that it’s affect them don’t just leave it, do something about it so you can prevent suicide or school shootings. There are many types of bullying that can be experienced by children and adults are alike, some are obvious to spot while others can be more hard to notice. The types of bullying are physical, verbal, social, and cyber bullying. Physical bullying is when someone hits, kicks, tripping, pinching and pushing or damaging property which can cause short term and long term damage to someone. Verbal bullying is name calling, insults, teasing, intimidation, homophobic or racist remarks, or verbal abuse. Verbal bullying starts off as harmless but eventually it can lead to more and affect someone’s life.
