About one in three students claimed that have cheated, rising to 43 percent of older teens. And most students boast about never being caught. Cheating in our education system is on the move and is something to worry about. If we let cheating in our school 's progress more than it already has, then education as we know it will be lost and shattered.

Our way of life suggests that you should do whatever it takes to win and or be on top. Nobody likes to lose at something especially if you can fix that. Our culture says that it is ok to be able to step on other people as you climb ahead to the top. Which is generally what we as normal human beings have done for many years. It should be taken more seriously than it is right now. What can happen to you when you are caught is explained here in the article What Are the Consequences of Cheating and Plagiarism at School. The amount of trouble you would get into is measured by what grade you are in or the level of the class, how severe the cheating and or plagiarism was, and whether or not you have a history of cheating and or plagiarism. In the article in states how you could be punished in a k-12 program and even in college. In k-12 you would be sent to the principal 's office or detention, a failing grade or zero on the assignment that was being cheated on, it could even be recommended that you fail the entire course for cheating, and you could lose all sports privileges and be suspended. In college the punishments have greater consequences such as a written reprimand on your record that will be available for professors to access, you could be dismissed from the course all together, academic probation, disciplinary probation, athletic probation, loss of scholarships which is an absolutely terrible thing, and in worst case scenarios expulsion from the university and any
