Nowadays, people tend to be more independent. Teenagers specifically view life as a carnival. Sometimes, they are serious with everything they do but most times, they make it as a joke, a playground. They break rules and ignore everybody else ' s request to fix the mess they made with their lives. Basically, these rebellious teens become selfish. They don 't care about what others people will think of them and they don 't want to listen to the opinion of others. But with everything people do, there is always a proper consequence. In dealing with stress in school, family and friends as well as peer pressure, these teenagers tend to try new things and that 's when illegal drug use enters. At first, of course teens will just try to use it as a form of stress reliever but since drug use is always accompanied by addiction, there is no escaping from the harsh reality that these teens will not be able to stop themselves in using illegal drugs and that they are now labeled as drug addicts. Whether they like it or not, it will have a negative effect on their lives and the people around them such as their family and friends. Tobacco products such as cigarettes, cannabinoids such as marijuana, inhalants such as gasoline, stimulants such as cocaine, narcotics such as heroine, club drugs such as ecstasy and the “others” classification such as steroids are the most common drugs that teens abuse nowadays.
