When the government gives a new health law is because they see the majority of the citizen are affected by it. In 1965, the government saw a necessity have program cover elderly and disabled people for any health issues, and Medicare was created. Since then are manny regulations and health care laws passed. However, in order to government to offer a full comprehensive health care system and be affordable is the an ongoing challenge for the government. The health care system need to be reform and these new health care laws can make changes to the way health service is delivery.
Recently in 2010 the government passed The affordable care. The purpose of the government passing this law was because in the last census of 2010.The reports
The Affordable health care act, popularly known as Obamacare, it’s a law that makes affordable health care available to more Americans since there are million of uninsured Americans and it will be cutting the rising cost of health insurance. Because of this law that grants coverage to everyone, it is increasing the rate of demand and consumer expending, making a great impact in the economy especially to GDP and economic growth. Also, not only there’s an increase in spending but also the labor market has been growing, since the employment rate has been increasing in the health care sector. While providing insurance to every American, it is generating major benefits to the newly insured like improving health, enhancing families security, increasing
The nature of the current debate surrounding the implementation of universal healthcare in America is troubling because it is comprised almost entirely of pragmatic arguments void of concern for the principles behind the project. Before one asks how much a thing will cost, how it will be organized, or whether “the uninsured” will benefit, one should ask whether enacting universal healthcare is in keeping with the values and principles of the American experiment. In other words, is universal healthcare good for America? Universal healthcare is not good for America.
The Affordable Care Act or “Obamacare” has constituted one of the most important topics since its implementation in 2010. Since 2010, the fate of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) has been uncertain. The ACA was a historic achievement for the Obama administration and Congressional Democrats. But it passed Congress without a single Republican vote, and the GOP subsequently mounted legal and legislative challenges to Obamacare, vowing to repeal and replace it. (Oberlander, 2012, p.2165).
Health care is the maintenance and improvement of physical and mental health, especially through the provision of medical services. Don 't you believe that this is a right and dignity of all people should be able to have. Your body should be taken care of no matter the gender, race, health,or social economic back ground it is a right. Health care deserves to be able to be taken care of. I believe that universal health care for everyone is very important it will benefit people from the richest to the poorest.
How would you feel if someone told you to buy something you don’t want? That is what President Obama has done with the Affordable Health Care Act also called ObamaCare. Although ObamaCare says it will provide affordable health care for more Americans, which it will. Only Americans making under 400% of the federal poverty level (FPL) will qualify for cost assistance subsidies. Those barely above the poverty level who already have cheap limited coverage that were benefiting saw premium hikes go up in 2014.
Conservatives need to stop and take a look around. It seems as if Republicans have been so dead set on repealing the Affordable Care Act, that they do not even know why they are doing it. House and Senate leaders are constantly talking about reform- but where is the replacement plan? There are a lot of people that are able to afford healthcare because of Obamacare. As a nation, we cannot allow ourselves to take a step backwards.
No matter what your wallet may say, healthcare should be a BASIC human right for everyone. No life should be deemed less important or valuable just because they can't afford health care. People have ALWAYS been employed and work long hours every day and still can't afford to pay hospital bills. With Obamacare not only do welloff, or ordinary to poor citizens have available health insurance for the first time in years, but they can actually afford to fill prescriptions without having to worry. Americans need to get over this idea that we shouldn't pay for our services.
Health care is very costly, but not having any is even more costly. The U.S. is always trying to make healthcare affordable. Affordable health care comes in package that tells you that the insurers will provide to pay for like the mint pay for majority of the medicine you need. Do to the unwanted Obamacare, Donald Trump is trying to create an improved form of Obamacare, but, it is hard because, Trump would rather just get rid of it and start new, but due to the laws that can not happen. The laws state that it can not be abolished, it can only be reformed.
Health care in the United States costs people more than it does the citizens of any of the other modernized country in the world. This means it is logical that the national government would make reforms to improve the situation for all people. However, in a country with a constitution granting freedom to the people, a plan such as Obamacare calls into question just how far the government is allowed to extend beyond these promised rights in in order to assist the people. The Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, was officially passed on March 23, 2010.
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act commonly known as Obamacare was signed into a law on March 23, 2010 by President Barack Obama.1 In July of 2009, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi along with a group of Democrats from the House of Representatives disclosed a plan that included reform within the healthcare system introducing the Affordable Care Act.2 On September 17, 2009 this bill was introduced in the House and a few weeks later the bill was passed/agreed on. In December 24, 2009 the law was then passed in the Senate. On March 21st, 2010 with resolving differences, the house agreed to the changes to the law made by the Senate and the plan was approved by the House in a 219-212 vote. On March 23, 2010 the law was signed into an
Before the Affordable Care Act was put into work, over 45 million Americans were uninsured. The Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, was then made to help those who were uninsured. It allowed people with financial struggles with the same opportunity as everyone else to have a healthcare plan. Even though the law was passed in 2010, it took a full year of back and forth to get it passed in the Senate. Obamacare may help you get coverage, but charge you an annual fee if you don’t have one.
Health care should not be considered a political argument in America; it is a matter of basic human rights. Something that many people seem to forget is that the US is the only industrialized western nation that lacks a universal health care system. The National Health Care Disparities Report, as well as author and health care worker Nicholas Conley and Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP), strongly suggest that the US needs a universal health care system. The most secure solution for many problems in America, such as wasted spending on a flawed non-universal health care system and 46.8 million Americans being uninsured, is to organize a national health care program in the US that covers all citizens for medical necessities.
Free healthcare for everyone I believe everyone deserves to be given free healthcare if they can not afford it. Plenty of people are dying because we don’t have coverage for everyone. More people are needing universal healthcare and we should be able to give it to those in need. This is making us look so bad to other countries.
Healthcare is something everyone needs and should be able to get, but right now that is not happening. In America there are millions of people who don’t have healthcare insurance. This is because some can’t afford the insurance plan. There are also millions more who have health insurance, but can’t afford using it. This means that they are paying for an insurance plan, but the deductibles are so high they can’t afford to go to the doctor.
Health insurance is one of the main insurances ones can have in life. Without reliable health insurance any small treatment can wipe out a person financially. " health insurance is a type of insurance coverage that pays for medical and surgical expenses that are incurred by the insured" as defined by Investopedia, 2015. The term ‘Health insurance’ was firstly discovered in the United States during the civil war.
