Immigrants are only there to make a living they mean no harm to the country and find it easier to be there illegally because they are in desperate need of the money and can’t afford to waste time on legal paperwork. They had no other choice to live a normal life and they took a huge risk doing so. America claims to be a free country but recently more and more restrictions have been added about who is allowed in the country which contradicts the phrase that they have been living by for so many years. When it comes to being a “free country” they should be free when it comes to everything and not only when it came to immigrants were they banning certain countries. Moreover, immigrants are actually benefiting the country more than harming it. Immigrants take on jobs that pay little that contribute to the society but Americans don’t see the importance of these jobs. Immigrants can also have skills that the Americans are not familiar with. They serve Americans after all by doing all the minimum wage jobs that benefit the Americans from like serving their food to cleaning after them, jobs that Americans wouldn’t
Hundreds or thousands immigrates legal or illegal come to the United States for jobs. Some immigrates come because they need money for their family and other's come because they want to danger us. Immigrates should be allow to come to the United States because they're better jobs there ,and also they need money for their family. Her parents couldn't pay the bills in Mexico so the only way to get money and better jobs are in the United States.

Throughout history, people have always discriminated against immigrants. People in this country have always said to not let them in the country or let them work because they do no good, they all just bring illegal drugs and crime. However, they are wrong because they do not see the hard labor in undesirable jobs they work in. But there is organizations helping out immigrants workers; for example worker labor protection law, it proves that they are not what people say. Although people get the wrong impressions of immigrant workers as being only involved in crime and bringing drugs into the U.S, there are groups and organizations proving people wrong by showing them how hard-working immigrants are even though they are in poor working conditions.
“We always hear about the rights of democracy, but the major responsibility of it is participation.” (Marsalis). Politics influences almost everything we do in our lives and how we do it. Therefore, political participation in the American government, a democracy, is the best way to be the change you want to see in your community and in your country. One small yet important and effective way to do this is by contacting your government and voicing your opinions, and when I wanted to raise the issue of immigration reform for the DACA recipients, I researched the issue, wrote a letter, and sent it.

They come here because they want a better life for their family, but their presence has caused many problems for the citizens of this country. Moreover, immigration has always been an important issue in the story of the United States. Many undocumented immigrants are able to enter the country illegally. For decades, immigration has been a problem for the United States. Due to the people traveling from their native lands to the United States seeking a better life for themselves, and more primarily for the family that has come with them. Immigration is the action of settling into a country of which one is not native. Despite the many legal immigrants not every immigrant enters the country with legal documents and most of these illegal immigrants are poor and uneducated. Some undocumented immigrants commit crimes such as drug smuggling, or terrorism.

The United States of America, being a country founded by immigrants, is known all over the world as the land of great opportunities. People from all walks of life travelled across the globe, taking a chance to find a better life for them and their family. Over the years, the population of immigrants has grown immensely, resulting in the currently controversial issue of illegal immigration. Illegal immigrants are the people who have overstayed the time granted on their US, visa or those who have broken the federal law by crossing the border illegally. Matt O’Brien stated in his article “The government thinks that 10.8 million illegal immigrants lived in the country in January 2009, down from a peak of nearly 12 million in 2007.”(Para, 2) While some argue that illegal immigrants burden the United States of America and its economy, others believe that they have become essential and are an important part of the US, economy.
Immigration has always been a crucial topic in the United States government. Especially when it comes to giving amnesty and passing an immigration reform to 11 million immigrants, that live in the country. Many citizens believe that immigrants are detrimental to the well-being of the United States and do not agree with the passage of an immigration reform. One reason is that many believe immigrants take away the jobs of American citizens. Other reasons are that immigrants bring crime to the country and affect the economy.
The United States Government should not allow immigrants into the U.S., because it decreases American jobs. Legal and illegal immigrants force American citizens to compete with illegal immigrants for jobs. According to the Center for Immigration Studies, “There are about 11 million illegal immigrants in the country.” These immigrants get whatever jobs they can, putting less educated American citizens at a higher risk for not getting jobs.
