Everyday in the United States alone, 28 people die in motor vehicle accidents meaning that one person dies every 53 minutes. The amount of impaired driving related accidents is rapidly rising and is not showing a sign of slowing down. It seems that the laws and penalties against impaired drivers are not stopping people from continuing to do so. Drivers who have been caught impaired driving should have their license revoked for a year. This way, we can take the irresponsible drivers off the road; saving lives, repairs, time and money.
