On average 96 Americans are killed with guns every day and more than 100,000 people in America are shot in murders. We must need Gun Control. The one who is a con for Gun Control says “If gun control laws were made much more strict, these criminals would still be able to obtain illegal weapons. The only difference would be that the people who are not criminals would not have the ability to defend themselves” but if we eliminate the gun control, the murder case will increase greatly.
For example, everyone has heard about school shooting which happened on February 14th. That was most recent school shooting and also was when I first learned about school shootings but there is an unbelievable fact that since 2013, there have been 291 school shootings in the US, which averages out to about one every week, the gun safety group says. One of the cons for Gun Control says “If those school students had guns, they could protect themselves” but if so someone would definitely die because of shooting each other so I don’t agree even having gun because everyone can make mistakes so holding gun just raises the possibility of injuring people. there are some safety countries all over the world.
