Should someone be able to text while one is driving? Texting while driving is really bad and has killed many people in the world, so why is it still legal? Truthfully though laws are amazing in theory, but not everyone will follow them. Texting should be banned by the government because a law, because without one it can only go down hill.
Do you want to lose the ability to drive? No one should be drink driving. Drink driving causes many accidents. Alcohol should not ever be used on the road for the following reasons, it stops your brain from functioning properly, it is likely to hurt innocent people and why risk a fine when it can be easily avoided?
How do these things appear similar to chronic homelessness? They cannot be explained by a bell curve; the LAPD police department only has a small portion of officers who are chronically brutal, while only a few cars out of several hundred or thousands omitted too much admissions. So his point is you can’t punish all the officers over a few bad ones and you can’t punish all automobile drivers in Denver because of a few. So why lump all homeless into the same category. Instead address the ones that pull the most from the system, those who are chronically homeless and spend more time and money on be admitted and readmitted to local hospitals and
Which have reduced crime rates drastically. Furthermore 54 countries apply death sentence in their legislation thus isn 't weird and no common to see results Many people argue that death penalty isn 't an effective deterrent because the mind of a criminal doesn 't get affected with anything due to their psychopathic characteristics. Therefore, people would not matter to kill knowing the consequences. And that argument is totally missing the point of death penalty as a deterrent.
The issue was left ineffective and the practice won’t be coming to an end any time soon. Of course. But I can see the positives and negatives to the curfew practice and why Congress doesn’t know how to approach it. Due to the small percent of bad decision making drives, also, the worst one, teens having the highest accident rate.
The problem with drinking and driving is that people are unaware on how easily accidents can happen. Most of the time it isn 't the drunk driver that gets injured, it is the innocent people that are just driving home or to work, those are the people that are either hospitalized or much worse. " Every day about 800 people are injured in a drunk driving crash". Accidents happen every day; most people just do not realize how much they have drank or are too selfish to call a cab and ended up getting arrested or causing a car accident. "Every 2 minutes, someone is injured in drunk driving crash.
Lastly, they argue that driver’s tests do not teach you how to merge. When Jessica got a ticket for reckless driving, because she merged incorrectly, she was confused. She was expecting to be excused from the ticket since she was not tested on the driver’s test for merging. But texting while driving is never okay because nothing is that important, and nothing is that urgent that rushing through a red light/stop sign is necessary because it may cause a really horrific accident with lives lost.
No Guns for Teachers Guns are incredibly dangerous. Why should teachers have them in schools? This is a much debated question with two very opposing opinions. All things considered, teachers should most definitely not have guns in schools because injury could be caused, it is not teachers’ jobs to protect students, and having guns on school grounds would inflict fear among the students.
Secondly, most people even if they can not get a gun they will easily just steal it. Banning guns will not do anything except make people steal more to get a gun which will just cause more problems. Also making stricter gun laws will also include police officers which will give them a disadvantage if they have no gun or have new rules while using the weapon.
“There have been fewer than 20 terror-related deaths on American soil since 9/11 and about 364,000 deaths caused by privately owned firearms.” (Burnett, 2015) Using a second amendment is part of an old rule. We have to start changing this. Nowadays, the police are widely spread, which means people are quite safe and there is no need for keeping guns.

Joey Arbuckle Mr. Lealos English II, 2 17 September 2015 Capital Punishment Only 13 of 800 total prisoners sentenced to the death penalty in California have been . The amount of money spent keeping these prisoners on death row for all these years is over $4 billion (End the death penalty in California 2012). From having the death penalty, California has been wasting tax-payer’s money on repeal and living costs. California should abolish the death penalty because the prisoners cost too much and it does not deter criminals.
By breaking this law and driving around without a license is a huge risk for them because when they get pulled over they have a high chance to get deported. Not only can the person not have a driver’s license, but because of this problem they can’t have insurance which will not help anybody because they will be worried about having an accident which won’t help anybody. In North Carolina there is a bill and is in talks about giving driver’s license to undocumented immigrants, but the governor does not approve of this bill. “Governor Pat McCrory also a Republican, sent his legislature liaison to the committee Tuesday to express his disapproval as well. He is opposed to this bill (Binker and Brown).
Even though some people disagree, thinking that they should be able to use their phones when driving, because there could be an emergency they need to be aware of as soon as it happens. But answering that call or text could cause them to end up in a dangerous situation themselves. So in order to keep the streets safe for everyone across the country, there should be laws in every state imposing no cell phone use while diving. My
When young adults below the age of 21 drink, it rarely even crosses their mind that what they are doing is illegal, they simply see drinking as one of the symbols of adulthood and seeing as they are adults they want to partake. However, every time one of these young adults takes a drink they are actively breaking the law, but it is one so horribly enforced that only around 2 in 1,000 instances of underage drinking results in arrest or citation (Wolfson 1995). This is exactly why underage drinkers are so brazen and have seemingly no respect for the law. They know they will not be caught. This habitual law breaking may lead to the idea that breaking other laws will also not end in arrest, which is often not the case.
