Texting and driving is a big problem in our society. In the U.S. alone about 32,000 people are killed and two million injured in crashes every year. More than ninety percent of vehicle crashes in the U.S. happen because of distracted driving (Kalra and Paddock 1). Such as texting or any other form of distracted driving. However, this topic is very serious and needs to be addressed. The main things that need to be addressed are why people text and drive and how we can stop people from texting and driving (Kalra and Paddock 1).
