Many countries around the world call terrorism a common enemy, but there is not a common definition for that. Terrorism is against the peace, stability and development. Their mission is to murder, demolish and spread fear. Abuse and misinterpretation of any faith in their favor are their mutual interest and shared goals. They support each other globally and they have a common definition of their foes. It is cancer and besides the symptoms, we need to fight the cause of this illness. We should ask ourselves, what do we do to defeat them fundamentally and defend ourselves?
There is no doubt that some state sponsors terrorist groups, yet I have not heard of any government, which publicly backs or defend terrorism. While every state agrees

The war is not over yet, insecurity and threats have increased. The ongoing war and refugee crisis may last for years and decades. Though, the world community can reduce or hinder these issues by a comprehensive, strategic and long-term unified vision.
One propaganda message of an extremist, radical or terrorist spreads among their friends, associates or enemies instantly and globally, but what about the good news? Do the countering propaganda and good stories get enough coverage? Is this against our values to search for and share good stories? These are the questions that we should ask ourselves.
Of course, it is not mandatory to report and share only good news and stories, but everyone has rights, responsibilities and obligations. Are we practicing our responsibilities and are we doing enough? Should we remain indifferent or we should also engage through all possible means against terrorism? These are the vital matters that we should

So, there is a gap and there are some people who forget their responsibilities. Military and law enforcement fight terrorism everyday, but they cannot win this war alone unless people support them. So families and communities play a vital role in countering terrorism, by observing and reporting any suspicious activity.
Terrorism does not belong ot a particular race and religion. Warfare, crimes and terrorism existed before Islam and other religions, but today Muslims mostly blamed for most of the terrorist acts. Lots of people oppose generalizing this issue and criticizing a faith community for the actions of some individuals and groups. Many Muslims may refute the claims and oppose the misuse of Islam by terrorism, but their voice is not heard.
We should seek the best instant and long-term resolutions to end terrorism and extremism. Meanwhile, we should fight the hate crimes and segregation, which is a major factor of radicalisation and a recruitment tool for terrorists. We should not live in fear, isolation and separation. That is what the terrorists want and we should not contribute to their primary
Non-state actors attempt to attack the U.S. and recruit U.S. citizens to participate in attacks against our homeland without warning. The prospect of terrorist attacks on our homeland from non-state actors or our own radicalized homegrown terrorists has increased a
Our obligation is to serve, protect, and defend the citizens of the United States. We are also taking strong measures to protect our Nation from Radical Islamic Terrorism. According to data provided by the Department of Justice, the vast majority of individuals convicted for terrorism-related offenses since 9/11 came here from outside of our country. We have seen the attacks at home — from Boston to San Bernardino to the Pentagon and yes, even the World Trade Center.
However, the organization and its doctrinal principle still exist. How the world should fix this thorny issues in response to the persistent threat will be the primary national strategy to those democratic countries. Because the terrorist still believe that their conducts are following the God’s will, therefore, no any tangible or specific approach can remove their firm thoughts. In accordance with author’s opinion, every country ought to prepare short, mid, and long term response to reflect the arms projection from Al Qaeda and other terroristic organization. Thus, the homeland security has become the key consideration to the
Today, our world has to face many crises which can not be solved in a short time such as food, water, economy, and terror. However, the terror tissue is the most challenged thing for all the governments to solve. Since September 11, 2001, not only was the US attacked by the terrorists but the other countries from over the world like Britain, Spain, Indonesia… also became the target as well, and thousands innocent people lost their lives during those surprising attacks of terrorists. Even though after September 11, 2001, US has attacked and destroyed a lot terrorists’ bases in over the world, the terrorists still survive and keep aiming to US and its allies. From the book “War on Terror” of Patrick Coaty, we will be able understand deeply how and
The mission of the Bureau is to promote national security of United States of America (Kraft and Edward 6). It achieves that by taking the leading role in developing strategies and approaches that are coordinated so as to defeat terrorism and also to secure counterterrorism within the United States of America. The current policy options aim to strengthen the civilian capacity, partnerships, and information sharing throughout the states to create awareness to people on the impacts and root causes of terrorism activities. In addition, there are law enforcements policies and judicial capabilities that provide mitigation measures to the terrorism and violent extremism (Kraft and Edward 101). These laws aim at disrupting the terrorist transit, investigating, and prosecuting those involved in terrorist
This has happened against the rise in illegal immigration. To conclusion, the international community enough money is spend on counter-terrorism. It is very important to be able to prevent the root of terrorism in the long-run, than only fight terrorism. The immigration policy should be less strict, because they use a lot of national-based profiling, which is not correct.
Today World today is full of terrorism attacks, we know about France, Russia, Lebanon attacks, and all of those attacks happened in 2 weeks. It is obvious that we have a serious problem in the world right now. On friday 13, 7 attacks happened in Paris, 129 people died, 200-300 wounded. IS took all responsibility for that.
Terrorism is not only a national issue but it is also a worldwide issue. In some cases we are not able to stop these attacks such as 9/11, the Boston Marathon, and the Oklahoma City bombing. Everyday kids are affected due to terrorism emotionally or physically. Something needs to be done quickly, and it starts with us. So how can we help?
The world today is facing a crisis and there seems to be no resolution in sight. The war on terrorism has been going on for many, many years and it appears as if the leaders of the world are baffled as to stop it or if nothing else, control it. Many scholars have a difficult time attempting to define a good definition for the word terrorism. Many believe it is a difficult word to define because there are so many interruptions to the word. It will depend on what part of the country one is in, but for the universal approach to the definition many believe terrorism is “the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce esp for political purposes” (Dyson, 2012, p. 19).
Americans Versus Americans Terrorism is hardly ever looked at lightly. When most Americans think of terrorist the first thing that comes to mind is the September 11 attacks. What many fail to recognize are the numerous incidents in which the terrorist attacks were committed by individuals who were United States citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Homegrown terrorism can be motivated by numerous reasons ; Economic issues, such as losing a job or blocked mobility, religious convictions, racial prejudice, and supremacist goals, political standpoints and even the deathof a close family member. Today this issue is at its peak and growing rapidly and it does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
We have learned that it is not possible to prevent terrorist attacks, completely. [5]. Although, DHS, Homeland Security and the many agencies that have come together nationally and worldwide to end terrorism, work to mitigate threat of terrorism, in response and defense, there may never be a 100% certainty that an attack will not happen. And, it is important to understand that threats to the security of the nation do not stop at just
After a terrorist attack of any kind there are always consequences that must be faced. Sometimes the point of the terrorist attacks is because the organization wished to send a message or to influence policy in their favor. However, after the 9/11 attacks administrators realized that the United States was not prepared for a tragedy of this kind and had little to no measures to prevent one, this lead them to create new programs and policies. Terrorist organization’s goal often comes down to one of the following: regime change, territorial change, policy change, social control and status quo maintenance. The main purpose of a terror attack may well be to influence public policy.
Nevertheless, whether terrorism has a religion or not is definitely not what I am here to write about. Discrimination in any shape or form should not be tolerated, it must be stopped. Islamophobia has severely increased discrimination in our world; likewise, biased views against not only Muslims but also non-Muslims are becoming a norm nowadays. You might ask how? Well, due to the unbelievable indoctrination of our people through social media and politics, anyone who looks like they are from the Middle East and has a beard, is a terrorist.
After the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 and the more recent attack in Paris, Arab Muslims have faced racial prejudice and religious persecution. There are many non-Muslims who falsely accuse all Muslims of being terrorists and some take action against them. Last year, three Muslim UNC Chapel Hill students were killed in an apartment and a threat was sent to Virginia Tech, stating “I will be here 11/11/2015 to kill all Muslims.” Because of this antagonism against them, Muslims in America are becoming increasingly afraid for their wellbeing. Dean Obeidallah wrote the article, “Are All Terrorists Muslims?
Terrorist groups are a threat to everyone and anyone everywhere. One current group, as an example, is the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham or better known as ISIS. It is a growing population in the Middle East. Many people assume that ISIS members are all Muslims; however, ISIS is just a group of ruthless human beings that want to take over the world. Everyone wonders what and how ISIS began.
