Why not use animals for research? Ever wake up one morning and think how lucky you are to be human? How lucky you are, going another day without unwillingly being used for research? Animals are really taking one for the team by being used for research, and it isn’t even done of their own accord. All contributing to products that could prove to be “dangerous” for testing on humans first. Well, that’s how it has to be, it’s better than using humans. Our lives have more worth than theirs, according to us. That may be true in some ways, but not if the majority of the time there’s a difference between how we react to the products nevertheless. It’s all pointless, this doesn’t even contribute to society anyways. Well, there are several reasons why animals do not need to be used for research. While the use of animals for research has not yet been banned in the U.S., other places have already done so. Places including India, Israel, Norway, and the European Union. All places populated by humans, keep in mind, so their lives are just as valuable as ours, and they have the right idea, banning these acts of inhumaneness. They know that poisoning, shocking, and burning can’t be pleasant for any life form, and while some citizens of the U.S. know this is wrong as well, the country needs to officially ban it. It’s too large a price to pay for things we don’t need, and in fact, already have. Some brands decide they want a new product, so they turn to the animals for testing. Profiting from their usage is immoral. In other places, there needs to be a very clear scientific reason for using of animals for research. In fact, outside of the place of experimentation, acts like those committed would all be considered felonies.
