During my lifetime, I 've heard kids and adults of all ages calling other people cowards, more than being called a courageous person. Most times, the people who were/are called cowards are called that way for the same reasons. They 've been called cowards due to lack of courage to face danger, difficulty, opposition, pain, etc. or hurting others/hurting yourself which eventually separates you from others. Another reason why they might be called ' cowards ' can be by the reason of they decline a person 's command that makes the person angry. To put it simply; being a coward is mostly being afraid of taking risks and either getting hurt or hurt the person whom you value. Nowadays our society has gotten more judgmental towards others little by little. Saying words and sentences they shouldn 't be saying, yet they still proceed with their plan. Furthermore, cowards are sort of like slaves to some people. Cowards are usually are people who are either forced to do/say something to them. The outcome of their decision could be a reason why they are afraid that makes them a coward. In addition to that, bullies are also a reason why a person could be a coward. Bullies make people feel awful only so that they could have access to the power to take control of others. By that, the kids who get bullied are afraid to speak or take an action to stop this disaster. However, though this isn 't the only reason why some people are cowards. There are countless reasons why a person could
Impulsive Courage What is childish may be impulsive, but what is impulsive is not always childish. The term “childish” is often associated with foolishness and naivete, having a negative connotation. Children tend to act impulsively disregarding any danger or consequences. However, sometimes their actions can be seen as courageous and even wise, especially when their intentions are pure and righteous. On the contrary, many adults are disciplined to make wise decisions and not act impulsively, particularly when they have a family to take care of.
Within Tim O’Brien’s novel, each character has a different idea as to what courage truly means. In the short story “On The Rainy River,” Tim faces the moral decision of whether or not to join the war. Being the stubborn man he is, Tim believes he is too good for the war, all the while opposing war in his liberal nature. He faces a dilemma in which he can either flee to Canada and evade the war, or accept his draft notice and go to war. This is illustrated as Tim states “Right then,

I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do.(Lee 112)

Courage is Earned! Courage can't just be said it has to be shown. In the book Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry by Mildred Taylor, Mr. L.T. For example, I think military members are very courageous, as well as law enforcement and other authorities. Generally I think courage applies to anyone who lays their life on the line for a cause such as defending the U.S.A. Also I would say that anyone who helps in any major situations is courageous. The Book Thief has many, many examples of courage in it. It took some courage to defy Hitler and his partners because 99% of the time if you did you died.
[ Imagine this scenario: you are complying with the police that are screaming at you, guns pointed at you, screaming “please don 't shoot” and trying your best to do what the police are asking. Daniel Shaver was an unarmed man fatally shot for no good reason. He was complying with the police officers orders and was begging for his life, screaming “please don’t shoot,” before he was fatally shot 5 times. Unfortunately, this is just one example of police brutality, an instance when police use unnecessary force when either they are unarmed or are complying with orders. Today I want to tell you of the injustice of police brutality, the people it affects, and how just asking the right questions could make sure that police are punished for their crimes.
There is a significant difference between finding reasons and looking for excuses. The reasons why a child becomes a bully does not justify their misbehavior, but perhaps they will help us to understand it. On the part of the victim they do at their early age an insecure person, nervous, withdrawn, isolated, etc., many times the children no longer want to attend school for the same fear and in some extreme cases they arrive at the suicide. The damage lies primarily in their personal safety and low self-esteem to feel that their existence is worth little. This article pertains to my question regarding what is bullying because reading many articles I did not find a precise definition for

Although fearful, I was courageous, and shared with them that I was going though.
