Customer Experiences The customer experiences at Ulta Beauty are a part of what keeps its customers coming back and, in a lot of cases, part of its Ultamate Rewards Program. These customer experiences can be seen in the comments and replies on Ulta Beauty’s social media accounts, but also in personal posts from customers, as well as in YouTube videos. Ulta Beauty recognizes this and has begun to reach out to some of the makeup and beauty “gurus” on YouTube and social media (see Figure 5). YouTube in particular has become a large platform for vloggers (video bloggers) to create content in the realm of hair and beauty.
Bourgois and Schonberg use the terms ‘moral economy’ and ‘gray zone’ within their text, Righteous Dopefiend, to help explain gain a better understanding about their research participants. The terms are both useful in their applications, with moral economy translating into helpful public health implications and gray zone providing context for the homelessness and chronic drug use experienced at Edgewater boulevard (Bourgois & Schonberg 2009, p. 298). Bourgois and Schonberg apply the term, the moral economy of sharing, to the Edgewater community in an effort to uncover what binds the community together, the limited alleviation of suffering and how solidarity is achieved through the sharing of resources. This term is further unpacked and references

you got your hair fixed- what the hell stinks? Hairspray? You don’t see your sister using that junk” (317)
After reading the novel, Righteous Dopefiend, I have a different lens in which I can view substance abuse and individuals who suffer from substance abuse disorders. All of the characters in the novel offered a unique perspective to different aspects of substance abuse disorders and the challenges associated with substance abuse and homelessness. However, despite all of the interesting aspects of each individual in the novel, the character Tina stuck out most to me and had the greatest impact on how I will view and engage with individuals who may suffer from substance abuse disorders. Initially what caught my attention about Tina was the chapters that described how she lived as a female on the streets, which was often considered “a man’s place”.
Skip Hollandsworth’s “Toddlers in Tiaras” argues the negative effects of participating in beauty pageants for young girls. Hollandsworth supported his argument through the use of the following techniques: narratives, testimonies, logical reasoning, appeals to emotion, facts, and an objective tone that attempts to give him credibility. These techniques are used to help persuade his audience of the exploitation of young girls in beauty pageants and the negative effects that pageants will have on their lives. Hollandsworth begins his article with how a typical beauty pageant runs and describes the multiple steps Eden Wood, a pageant contestant, goes through in order to get ready for a competition (490).
The purpose of this essay is to pick apart Mill’s essay and to give my own personal opinion about happiness. Stuart believed that you could achieve happiness by helping others achieve happiness and by finding things that you enjoy in life. I believe the key to happiness is helping other people achieve their happiness, do things that you enjoy doing, and looking at things in the brightest way possible. I honestly believe that everyone wakes up in the morning wanting to be happy, I have never seen a person who wakes up saying, “ I want to have an absolutely miserable day today”. It is human nature to strive for happiness and do things that you enjoy to do.

Macbeth Persuasive Essay The play of Macbeth is one of the greatest pieces written in all of literature. William Shakespeare's “Macbeth” is about Macbeth, a Scottish General and thane of Cawdor, who runs across some witches who tell him about a prophecy that they have foreseen that he will become the next great King of Scotland. Once the witches tell Macbeth of his fate, he suddenly has a new found lust for power. Although the play of Macbeth can be seen as a Tragedy of Fate given by the witches, the play is really about the tragedy of character.
Tanning has become very popular in today’s society. Tanned skin has become known as healthy and beautiful, when in reality tanned skin is damaged skin. Many teens start the habit of indoor tanning when preparing for a school dance or maybe another special occasion, and then they just continue to go afterwards. Indoor tanning equipment, which includes all artificial light sources, including beds, lamps, bulbs, booths, etc., emits UVA and UVB radiation. The amount of the radiation produced during indoor tanning is similar to the sun, and in some cases might be stronger than the sun ("Indoor Tanning”).

In many peoples’ lives makeup is step in their daily routine. Many people use makeup to boost their confidence and enhance their natural beauty.
