Have you ever lost a loved one with with complete and utter surprise? Did you see them one day, then the next they were just all of a sudden gone? Was it tragic? Unfortunately, that has happened to way too many parents just this year with school shooting. Just imagine it, your a parent, your sending a loved one to school to learn and grow up. To one day to live out their dream life with their dream job. You and your loved one should feel safer right? Now would feel as safe knowing within the first nearly two months of 2018, there has tragically been at least eight terrifying school shooting? Do you think the government should take charge? This is not just offensive to parents who lose their child, it goes against our freedom, our Declaration of Independence. I believe that these school shootings are going against the third and fourth principles of the Declaration of Independence. I strongly think that we, as in the United States, are not upholding the principles of the Declaration of Independence. The third principle states that the government gets its power to make decisions and protect rights from the people. Are they truly protecting the rights with these shootings by giving regular citizens military weapons? My biggest question is, what is the point of a regular citizen owning a military weapon, what would they do with it? Yeah, it may be fun to shoot one and own one, but is it honestly necessary?
