Many Filipinos consider burger as a direct substitute to rice. They also eat burger at any time of the day contrary to rice which they usually only consume at breakfast, noon and dinner. We would like to incorporate these observations in our business and produce a product that Filipinos will like: Longganisa- a favorite breakfast meal, and a burger. We will also do custom burgers which are seen in gourmet burger restaurants and incorporate it in our burger stand that will cater the masses. The Jab targets people of the C to E class. After our population hit 100 million,they occupied 80% of the country’s income segment. This will continue to grow as our growth rate is also topping the charts. A lot of students from the teenage will go to this market segment and thus increasing our target market size again.According to our observations, people from these classes prefer affordable food that can satisfy their hunger so that they can go to work immediately. We focus on that angle of “pang-masa”. While targeting the masses seems like having a low yield of income, the raw size of our target market will compensate for it.
