Understanding the nature of company being studied in this paper (Oceaneering International Inc.) is very important to illustrate the reason of selecting it as our sampling frame. Oceaneering International Inc. is a leading petroleum service company all over the world; its market share and net income show that it has a big size of business in its field. Like most service company Oceaneering International Inc. business divided into two essential parts: operating and manufacturing activities. Thus, our sample will cover those two parts of activities not only to study the correlation between leadership styles (transformational and transactional leadership styles) and organization performance in Oceaneering International Inc. as whole entity but also to measure how changing in the business atmosphere (such as, work structure, nature of environment and the required skills) will affect the impact / selecting of leadership style. (background) Oceaneering is a global oilfield provider of engineered services and products primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry, with a focus on deepwater applications. Through using its applied technology expertise, Oceaneering also serves the defense, entertainment, and aerospace industries.
