There are many different career paths and so many jobs for people to choose. Different people are made special for different jobs. I however have chosen to become a Dental Hygienist. I feel this career is the best choice for me. I think good dental hygiene is very important and I take pride in keeping my teeth clean and healthy. Helping others to have clean teeth and dental hygiene is very important and a goal of mine. I feel this job as a dental hygienist will provide me with a rewarding hands-on job and interaction with many people and possibly new friendships with patients, it’s always good to have them feel comfortable around you and look forward to coming back.

I wanted to be the kind of pharmacist who checked for these kinds of dangerous but often overlooked interactions, warned patients and their doctors, and sought alternatives. Eager to learn more about the profession, I took the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam after spending my winter break with Mosby’s Pharmacy Technician: Principles and Practice. I passed and began working as a pharmacy technician at Walgreens.

Pharmacy technicians work under the supervision of a pharmacist helping prepare and give out medications. It is very crucial for a pharmacy technician to be aware of their work at all times and check their work more than once. Pharmacy technicians need to ensure any medication they have prepared has been done properly, if not that could potentially harm the patients. Pharmacist trust their technicians will always follow system-based processes and provide an extra layer of safety. Working as a pharmacy technician it is important to communicate with the pharmacist and address any questions or concerns, not asking a simple question could cost the life of a patient.

When people grow up, they always dream of being successful and becoming something important, such as a doctor or a nurse. My childhood and present-day dream is to become a Veterinarian Technician. I chose this occupation because of my passion for animals and my big heart. This career consists of multiple tasks being asked of the person, and being able to multi-task and have multiple skills.

Working in different settings and meeting new people that need to be taken care of has always interested me. The job I want to have while I go to college is the very challenging role of a Medical Assistant. Due to the experiences that have happened in my life, I believe that becoming a medical assistant is the best career choice for me.

I am writing to express my interest in being a part of the Pharmacy Technician program under the Practicum study. I have always had an interest in the medical field and want to pursue a career in that field. I’ve had an interest in cardiology and now am showing a great interest in being a pharmacist and believe that Pharmacy Technician is the best way to get the experience I need and the first level feel as I work towards a doctorate degree and pursue its higher position.

The one thing I would like to do after high school is become an LPN. The reason why I would like to do become an LPN is because I enjoy helping others. Knowing I can support people would make me happy. Taking shots, drawing blood, and taking vital signs would be interesting for me, I think I would enjoy that very much.

The career that fascinates me and what I plan to be when Im older, is a Dental Hygienist. A dental hygienist is a stressful job, but it helps a lot of people. You are helping people get better teeth and even look better, because when people have straight pretty teeth, they seem to have an upgrade in their looks. I haven’t always wanted to be a dental hygienist, I had many other career choices. But, something about making people smile when I’m the reason they look good doing it makes me happy.

Discuss: This person verifies the type of benefits the patient has to cover medically necessary procedures. This allows the patient to know what the financial responsibility will be before the procedure is done. It also lets the practice know if part or all of the financial responsibility need to be taken care of up front. This is not only beneficial financially but the verifier also works on behalf of patient care by ensuring the patient get all benefits allowed for needed procedures. Communication skills are a definite asset in this position.

The career the most interests me is Dental Hygiene. After high school, I plan to attend a two year college studying Dental Hygiene. This career interests me the most because I work well with people and it does not require much schooling. I feel as if I would do very well as a Dental Hygienist because they have selective hours. Another reason this career interest me is that you can work up to make pretty good money for little hours that you would be working. I did some research on all jobs that deal with dental and strongly considered Dental Assisting. Considering, that I just would like to have the simpler job by just cleaning teeth, I chose Dental Hygiene.

I have always had somewhat of an interest in the medical field, but I never wanted to become a physician or pediatrician. A pharmacist is the perfect in between of being in the medical field but not being an actual doctor. Also, dealing with drugs and medicine has always seemed interesting to me for as long as I could remember. As I previously mentioned, pharmacists have job mobility, stability, and flexibility. Pharmacists are employed everywhere in the country, so it’s very likely that I get a job anywhere. Also, everybody gets sick, and people are going to continue to get sick, so my job will always be stable and secure. After talking with my aunt, who is a pharmacist, I found out that a pharmacist only has to complete a certain amount of hours a week. So I could work 3 days and finish all my hours and have rest of the week off, or I could spread my hours throughout the week. Those aren’t the only reasons I want to go into this profession, I really want to help people get well and feel better. A physician isn’t the only role that helps patients feel better. A pharmacist also has a key role. Pharmacists are healthcare providers that have to communicate with there patients to make sure they can take the medication properly according to their lifestyle, diet, and transportation. When I was growing up, multiple people questioned me about my future career, and others even pressured me into certain careers. All the influences I have had over time have formed my idea of the perfect occupation, that fits my personality and interests. The careers I have based my future life plans are a pharmacist or a certified registered nurse anesthetist. Both of these careers require a great deal of school and hard work. My decision of these careers was influenced by both of them being within the medical field, and also both focus on helping people.
