Government officials must start again, clean from sin and with a renewed spirit of honest service.
Investors are looking for greener environments that can help the economy and their business prosper. If good governance is done in the country then the Philippine Economy will prosper.
Demand for consumer goods increases when the economy producing the goods is growing. An economy showing good overall growth and continuing prospects for steady growth is usually accompanied by corresponding growth in the demand for goods and services.
If Philippines can maintain the growth trend, public and international confidence will strengthen further and provide confidence to the international investors that there is no economic risk of doing business in Philippines.
Clearly the most significant challenge is to continue to strengthen the fundamentals of the economy to ensure sustained high growth that will lead to a sustained decline in poverty.
However on the flip side, the economy faces challenges of implementing essential policy reforms particularly in areas like tax administration, tax revenue collection, public expenditure management, budget execution and transparency. The global meltdown would also pose a challenge to Philippines
(INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND, 2014) A strong and stable macroeconomic policy has led to a growth rate of 5.2 percent in the period of 2000 to 2010 and is still growing with a rate of 6.2 percent in 2013. Such improvements in macroeconomic performance over the last decade can be seen as a result of the Highly Indebted Poor Countries debt reduction initiative in 2005 and also improved revenue mobilization. Consequently, Zambia in 2011 was included in the lower-middle income country, a status it lost in the 1980’s. Investment in mining sector and the high price of copper in the international market has led to recovery of nation economy.
Therefore, the economy can improve during hard times when deficit spending becomes one of the main resources to ensure the economy doesn’t fail. When an economy began to make progress due to deficit spending, it can also improve businesses which helps with increase investment known as crowding
Those are critical issues in our country recently which if we don’t pay attention and use all our sources to solve; the problem can be over control and create a large crisis in our country. However, these long term domestic issues need a very careful, certain, slow and efficient process to fix. Education is one of specific example. It takes a long time and a lot of efforts to make the education system generates effectively. The quality of public school can’t be boost with a lot of money but without a clearly way how to use the money effectively.
A large factor in whether a policy gets put into place or not, is whether the government can afford it. With the national debt coming close
National Debt The growing national deficit is a looming problem in the United States now more than ever. The national debt is constantly increasing and government spending is out of control. If these issues are not solved, then they could spell disaster for the nation’s economy. But an even bigger concern is how our Government plans to balance the budget and pay off the Federal Deficit.
Fiscal Policy: The Phelsalovistan Economy should apply an expansionary fiscal policy to it’s problems, therefore decreasing unemployment and increasing inflation. By giving more control to the employers and more money to the consumers through lowered taxes, production and demand for high ticket durables will increase; therefore businesses will need to hire more people. Although this may increase the government’s national debt and require loans from other countries, the increased GDP will eventually be able to pay off the deficits. Monetary Policy:
In many countries living in extremely poor conditions, not only is basic health an issue but also the lack of education. Although it is a necessity, “more than 72 million children of primary education age are not in school and 759 million adults are illiterate” (Rights to Education 1). The deprivation of education should be taken serious if a change is wanted. People need to become aware of how important education is and the benefit that it has.
In addressing one of the problems that is plaguing the Jamaican Education System the writer seeks to put forth some of Dewey’s Philosophical views. One of the problems highlighted by Wayne Campbell (2013) states that the Jamaican Education system in recent weeks has been under the microscope, and the findings have not been favorable in regard to what now passes has quality education in the society. Jamaica's education system can be described as fleeting in nature, despite pockets of excellence scattered across the various layers of the system. According to Campbell (2013) he stated that “each year a significant number of the student population simply passes through the school system without acquiring the requisite skills and knowledge necessary
All of the information above were helpful for us to find out or know something more about global warming. We can slowly answer the questions from above. In all instance we all know that global warming has been a big issue that has effects on the environment, people, and the world, and if not stopped now, the result could be catastrophic. The Philippines is one of the world’s disastrous place. Volcanic eruptions, typhoons, floods, earthquake, and droughts were natural hazards that occurred with such frequency that they have helped shape filipino society.
Therefore, the Philippine Constitution of 1987 mandated to providing free education which resulted in the increase of enrollment in the public elementary and secondary schools. However, qualified public school teachers are hindered to perform at their best because of the lack of instructional materials, inadequate facilities and lack of training for professional growth. Furthermore, the number of students reaching up to sixty in a classroom have distorted the learning environment as well. A problem so true that teachers need to exert extra effort to attract a good teaching strategy.
It is perhaps opportunely that our government is able to push through boundaries and traditions to come up with resolutions and better policies/laws. All this time, the Philippine Economy has been deemed to have strong growth hindered by political uncertainties. This is so true. We have a potential to be great and yet we still move slow towards our development and sustainability. Our country has its own strengths and weaknesses that affect positively and/or negatively our over-all status.
1.0 Introduction “Governments should play active roles in managing short-run instability in the economy caused by unemployment and inflation problems. ” I strongly agree with this statement as far as my own country is concerned. Singapore, although a very small island of about 700 square kilometres in the South East Asia, is an international business hub. The population is about 5.7 million as of July 2015 which consists of Chinese, Malays, Indians and other emigrants like Filipinos and Caucasians.
According to Dr. Jose Rizal “Ang kabataan ang siyang pag-asa ng bayan” that’s why education should be plan wisely. Having a good quality of education is having a powerful community; if people in the community are educated then economy will be better. If we want to have a better economy of coarse we should have knowledge and skillful graduates that industry needs. To meet the goal we must improve our education system and the key to that is to implement and support k-12 K-12 was implementing starting 2011 and by 2013 president Aquino signed the k-12 into law, adding 3 years to country basic education curriculum.
There is stability in politics and it is undergoing slow political reforms. For the first time in 2005, the local ruling body was held and more such reforms are being expected in the near future. Even though the king has tried to bring some reforms, namely the initiation of a legislative council and local elections, the country 's traditional practices and religious norms aren’t being compromised in the process. The conservative judicial system has no separation of powers and the final decision maker is the authorized judge by the king. Although there is a drive in their economy for foreign investors for sectors such as power, aviation, and telecom etc.
In the Philippines, the 1987 Philippine Constitution declares that education is a right of every Filipino (Maligalig, 2010). Thus, the policies of the government on education have been primarily about education for all citizens. Being a right, this must benefit every member of the Philippine population regardless of their language and ethnicity. The right to education, however, must not be confined in the context of being able to go to school or having more areas and structures for schooling. The right to education is undermined and meaningless if teachers are under-trained, learning curricula and materials are irrelevant and learning environment is unsafe and not conducive (Mapa, 2013).
