Life is full of twist and turns in order to keep the track of fast changing era of modernization. We need a vast innovation of knowledge. Education is the key to unlock the latch of knowledge it is the vessel to uplift the hopes and determination of every Filipino proving that they are worth living for. This essay tackles on how the Philippine Government address on the emerging trends and issues in the field of education.

According to news article an estimated 1.4 million children are affected by this typhoon. 7 months after the typhoon only 35 percent of classroom that were totally damaged and 53 percent of partially damaged have been rebuilt. Statistic shows that there is almost half a million students are still holding classes in over 4,000 so-called “learning spaces”. Learning spaces serves as their artificial classroom for the mean time. These are the tents or the sheds that is made up of corrugated metal sheets and wood. Mrs. Gina Villamor, a mother of two students who is studying in the ‘learning spaces’ was interviewed by the anchor in the Sun Daily Inquirer about this learning spaces and she said that “Nakakaawa Makita silang parang mga sardinas”. And will be expected to be fully armed to enter the world of works even without a college degree. These all sounds very nice. But if we will yet down to the ground, it doesn’t make sense at all. The said administration has a good intention in implementing that educational plan but no matter how good these intentions are there would still people who would give them a hard time making this educational changes. Why? Because meeting the basic necessities of the Filipino should be prioritized, stable jobs and other sources of livelihood should be made available
