Philo Farnsworth was born on August 19, 1906 in Beaver Utah. At first glance it may not seem like he influenced the world but you can’t judge a book by its cover. From a very young age, Philo was interested in everything. In fact, he turned his log cabins appliances into pure electricity. This eventually turned out to be a good thing, as he won a national contest with his discoveries in high school. Later, he married Pem Gardner Farnsworth and had four kids, Kent Farnsworth, Russell Farnsworth, Kenneth Farnsworth, and Philo T. Farnsworth III.
