That day she realized that Phoenix High School's commitment to see greatness within all students had borne fruit. A fun memory was at an assembly, where she invited all the students to join her on the floor to dance the electric cha cha, and they all did!
One thing that she will always remember from Phoenix High School is the kindness of the students. Mrs.Hale says, "[she] never underestimates kindness. Kindness can open more doors than any test score." Whenever she would walk down the hall she would ask the students, "How are you?," and she would usually receive, "No, Mrs.Hale how are you?" The warmth, love, and respect she received from the students carried her through some very difficult times.
Mrs.Hale has been a huge inspiration to all her students, not only does she believe in every single one of them but she is willing to help them out.Principals like Jani Hale, who is retiring from Phoenix High School at year's end, have changed the dynamic in a big way. Each morning, students are dropped off by family or school busses, filling the school with friendly and respectful faces. At Earle Brown I have had the opportunity to interact with a variety

Moral values were lost in the mid 1950s and lasted until 1968. African Americans were considered “lower class” compared to whites. There was a line that the colored race could not pass before authority. If blacks questioned authority, it was paid through crucial consequences. Segregation creates hatred, takes away rights, and kills family heritage.
Imagine yourself a poor, frail elderly person, living far from any community, having to take care of your sick grandchild by making a long strenuous trip for medicine. On this trip you face many obstacles in your path. With your faltering senses and strength, would you be able to endure these challenges? After imagining that, ponder doing it on a regular basis, multiple times a month. That is what Phoenix Jackson does.
Picture a young teenager on a date: she is around 16 and extremely excited about the prospect of an outing with another young woman that night. They decide to go see a new movie and have dinner after. Walking out of the theater that night, the young women are hand in hand and oblivious to what is about to happen. The Charm School by Nelson DeMille is a thriller set in Soviet Russia about the journey of U.S. embassy workers after receiving a call from an American tourist, Gregory Fisher, about the existence of what he calls The Charm School. He was told by an Air Force POW, Major Jack Dodson, that they are keeping Air Force POWs from Vietnam there. Then they are sent to America where they infiltrate society, slipping unnoticed into America and spying for the Soviet Union.
Grasshoppers are nasty; they have weird antennae that flow in the breeze, eyes disproportional to their small body, and scare me when armies of them bound from uncut grass, declaring war on my legs and feet. Riding the bus earlier this year, one of these terrifying creatures decided to tag along for the ride. Being a senior, I should have known better than to cower at the thought of an insect leaping onto me. However, my knight in shining armor came to save the day; a seven year old boy named Nate took off his sandal and smashed the bug against the seat. He grinned from ear to ear when he saw relief flood my face.
“Day by day as she worked in the schoolroom or walked in the streets, grief, hope, and desire fought within her”(Anderson 89). Eleanor Roosevelt had once stated “You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the think which you think you cannot do.” An interpretation of this is that the only way growth and courage can increase is when the time is taken to perform at the best state possible. This can occurs when there is a challenge which may or may not be extremely difficult, but you must push forward and come out ahead. The Little Rock nine had to endure going to school facing true hatred and constant denigrate each and everyday.
In addition, there was a time when I visited her office to talk with her about a situation that had happened during third grade. She had waited patiently for me to finish telling her what had happened and then had given me a few suggestions to resolve the situation. This assisted me and proved that being patient is key and how Kelley Larson better qualifies for the Jefferson Award. Also, giving a second example from fourth grade, Samantha Forbes said, “When we discussed my family drama, she would hear me out on my opinions, it made me feel very relaxed.”
In the five years as principal, her school met exceptional growth in the areas of reading and math. When asked how the school had progressed with her as principal, she said, “I created professional learning communities to focus on student learning and differentiated instruction.” After much success as a principal at Sunland Park, she was offered a principal position at Anthony Elementary. Anthony Elementary had not met AYP standards for three consecutive years. When Ms.Perez got to Anthony Elementary, the teachers had many excuses as to why Anthony Elementary was not meeting the AYP standards.
As Junior year comes to an end I am positive that my learning experiences and my growth as an individual will help me with what Senior year has to offer. Among the ESLRS, two that I identify and that I have mastered are: write efficiently across the curriculum and apply skills and knowledge. I have written efficiently across the curriculum in my AP English Language class, when having to write essays in a precise amount of time. These time write essays accumulated as a resource of how writing an essay in the AP exam would be. Each essay was practice in writing a full essay and writing down our main thoughts and ideas.
By Ms. Noona focusing on perseverance, she got the kids more comfortable with the obstacles that they will face with the activities coming for their class. Also Ms. Noona noticed that all of her kids were not on the same level; however, she also recognized that she had students who would
Oak Hills facility is a manufacturing unit under TOGS which provides upstream services to public and the government owned energy companies. It produces test equipment used in Exploration and Extraction unit (E & E). Thus a project team has been tasked to assist in the improvement of the facility operations processes through the lean system. Implementation of a lean system in a company involves a lot of factors which does not only primarily focus on the operations and its equipment to manufacture testing instruments.
Along with great teachers and staff, the principal, Dr. Richards, gives a very positive vibe to this school. He makes us feel as if we can do anything and be anything through his speeches. When someone is encouraged and inspired, it makes one feel as if they can get through their tough times and come through with wonderful results. Not only is the atmosphere positive and uplifting,
