Age groups that participated within the study were 65.6% below 24 years, followed by the age groups between 25-29 years (27.9%) and above 30 years (6.6%) formed part of the study. The population also consisted of 61.5% (n= 75) degree students and 38.5% (n=38.5%). The socio-demographic data are presented in the table below.A total of 119 study participants from 122 were recruited from physiotherapy degree and diploma programs. More than half of the participants were of males 70 (57.4%). The mean age (± SD) was ± (3.7) 24 years ranging from below 24 years to above 30 years. RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PHYSICAL ACTIVITY LEVELS (ENERGY EXPENDITURE) AND DEMOGRAPHIC VARIABLES Table 2: showing the relationship between physical activity levels and demographic variables Physical activity levels ( n =119) Characteristics Sedentary ( are activities that require moderate physical effort and cause small increases in breathing or heart rate. 1. Does your course work involve moderate-intensity activity that causes small increases in breathing or heart rate such as brisk walking [or carrying light loads] for at least 10 minutes continuously? YES NO If NO go to no.4 2. In a typical week, on how many days do you do moderate-intensity activities as part of your course work? Number of days 3. How much time do you spend doing moderate-intensity activities as part of your course work on a typical day? HOURS MINUTES The next questions exclude the physical activities at university/college that you have already mentioned. Now I would like to ask you about the usual way you travel to and from places. P6 review physiological data collected, describing the effects of exercise on the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory and energy systems Cooper Run The first test I did was the Cooper twelve minute test. This tests ones endurance. Advantages of this test is that you don’t need a lot of equipment, it is simple to set up and do so this won’t take up too much time. More than one person can do the test and one time.
The bar chart compared the proportion of Australian males and females of various ages who habitually devoted themselves to physical activities in 2010. It can be drawn from the picture that the females who are 45 to 54 years old did the most exercise; the amount of it is up to 53.3%. On the contrary, the group of people aged 65 and over ranks the least among the women, and it accounts for 47.1%. Besides, females of ages 35 to 44 and 55 to 64 also took regular physical activity seriously, respectively with 52.5% and 53%.
10 points: Summarize all the data and provide a percentage for the amount of time spent in: Sedentary activity (lying, sitting), light activity (walking), moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA; walking and vigorous) and vigorous physical activity (VPA; vigorous). Provide percentage for each category. [4-5 sentences] The majority of individuals were observed participating in sedentary activities 46.66%. Raul Mejia Mejia1 Mrs.Rouse APEnglish8 26January16 Why Physical Therapy is worth it Speech Imagine living in a world with no types of medical attention or any types of medical practitioners, it would be chaos. People would be dropping like flies. Whenever an injury occurs peoples first immediate reaction is to go see a doctor, because doctors are the healers of this world like god right? The thing is whenever you go see the doctor for whatever injury you have.
Osteopathic medicine is founded on the philosophy that the whole body is interrelated and has the innate ability to heal itself, if properly stimulated. It emphasizes a holistic approach of the human body when treating a patient’s illness, not just treating specific symptoms, but also looking for the underlying cause of the illness. As opposed to allopathic physicians, osteopathic physicians receive additional training on the musculoskeletal system in order to better understand how that system influences the body as a whole. This additional training facilitates the ability of an osteopathic physician to practice osteopathic manipulative medicine, an additional training that they get. Osteopathic manipulative medicine is a hands-on care that
Jeffrey Eubanks J17002346 February 7, 2018 Physical Therapy Physical therapy is a career that will always be needed throughout society; it helps the human body rebuild physical function in people that have been injured, have birth defects, or any other reasons. People who have been in accidents or have disabling conditions such as low-back pain, arthritis, heart disease, fractures, head injuries and cerebral palsy turn to physical therapists, commonly called PTs, for help. These health care professionals use an assortment of techniques, called modalities, to reestablish function, improve movement, relieve pain and avoid or limit lasting physical disabilities in their patients. There are certain education requirements to become one, just like
Thus, the physiotherapist should beware in order to keep the patient always in

Many people think that it is too time consuming and rather not work
Physiotherapy profession has many clinical reasoning models which can be applied during the practice like hypothetico-deductive reasoning, pattern recognition reasoning, and narrative reasoning (Christensen, Jones, & Carr, 2002). The hypothetico-deductive reasoning involves that collected information from the client and creating a hypothesis which should be tested. Pattern recognition reasoning occurs when the clinician has an experience in recognizing similar clinical presentation seen previously with other patients. When same clinical presentations appear, the clinician may take similar clinical reasoning as taken before for similar cases. This model is possible to be applied by well organized knowledge base and experienced clinicians.
Chiou et al. (1994) found that the most common diagnosis given to nurses was ‘‘muscular strain’’. Lumbar herniation and mechanical back pain develop as a result of poor body mechanics and damage to the body structures. A. Karahan (2004) found that nurses did not use body mechanics correctly while making some movements. In particular, sitting, lifting, extending, and moving the patient to the side of the bed were not done correctlyby the nurses.
Physical therapy is the treatment of disease, injury, or distortion by physical methods such as massage, heat treatment, and exercise rather than by drugs or surgery. The goals are to help joints move better and to restore or increase your flexibility, strength, endurance, coordination, and balance. This essay will discuss the extent of agreement that physical therapy is vital to be used as non-surgical treatments by people experiencing back and neck pain from time to time. To begin with, taking physical therapy sessions can regain original capabilities. People whom suffered from severe pain every day, tend to lose some of their abilities in handling their daily activities.
The general aim of exercise therapy is to restore musculoskeletal function and to reduce the patient’s pain level ("What is exercise therapy? ", 2013). This form of physical therapy is intensive and highly repetitive, which can turn some patients away ("What is exercise therapy?", 2013). Those who undergo exercise therapy must listen to their therapists and follow their prescribed exercise routines in order to achieve success in decreasing their pain level and increasing their mobility ("What is exercise therapy?",
