HEALTH BENEFITS
Health is a word derived from a persons’ well-being without any physical sickness or symptoms of being affected with diseases therefore we classify you as being healthy. The WHO defined health as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity” (Payne et al., 2009). When a person is healthy it is when they are not suffering many diseases which are the result of being physically inactive because when a person is physically active they are physically stable, they have a good relationship with their health.

PROMOTING PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Promoting physical activity requires the involvement and cooperation of all levels of government (national, regional and local), with clear roles and commitments for each level so that the overall nation can see how valuable it is to engage in physical activities. When physical activity is promoted it changes people’s behaviors because it will create love and commitment for everyone therefore the outcome will be that people are not going to suffer from obesity, heart attack and others.

There are barriers on why people do not engage in physical activities which may include fears about having a busy life such coming back from work late, crime, road safety, a lack of recreation and sport facilities and negative attitudes about physical activity. Opportunities for physical activity need to be created close to where people live, together with creating cleaner, safer, greener and more activity-friendly local environments. Governments should focus on promoting physical activity in different settings (such as neighborhoods, health care settings, workplaces, schools and transport systems) so that people will be grouped together to engage more in physical
