The job title I will hold will be PTA (physical therapy assistant). Typically a PTA will want to wear comfortable shoes, as they are on their feet all day long. So I would see myself wearing something like sneakers with good support. Also depending how where I work would depend on what clothes I would wear. Some places have a dress code, as in specific scrubs they want you to wear, but if I'm working with kids I hope I get to wear cute and fun scrubs!

I have set out on this journey of health care because I want to help people go from post-operative to back to fully functioning with realistic goals in place. An elderly may need to complete various daily living activities such as taking care of their personal hygiene which may include oral care, grooming, and bathing. At times performing these activities tend to be very difficult, but with a little bit of help and therapy, they usually manage themselves. While the PT have their patients around their gait belt, I would follow behind with patients wheelchair, since at times the residences become tired quickly than others.
