From the beginning of the Greek, Romans to our day-to-day life, sports has been affecting all its users. We can safely assume now that a body in motion will stay in motion, with that, a body at rest will tend to stay at rest. Our thoughts and our worries will flee our state of mind when we experience great physical activities. We’ve grown along with the fascinating culture of sports, we’ve all aged from our experiences and learned to build up from the past. As we continue to move on, sports and physical exertion will both increase and become more efficient.

The information and arguments he provides in these two chapters have applicable truths in them for the reader. I admit that as I read his material I had mixed thoughts, and I agree with the author on several points. Like the author I believe that physical fitness is vital for healthy living. However, there were moments I found dissonance with the author.

Your paunch/flabby thighs/high cholesterol/heavy breathing are sure signs you need to get moving (a la those nubile young midriffs on the MTV). So on fine day, you venture out bravely, looking for a fitness center to solve all your woes. There are loads of them out there, right?

It is the virtue of physical education that can subdue gender discrimination, empower women by means to enable them to entrench their own identity as being herself through physical education. In other words, physical education opens up routes at the grass root level through which they can acquire new community affiliations and begin to operate more openly and equally in common life.
