When you hear the name Udaipur, the things come in mind are. - Land of rich culture and obviously the lakes of the city. Udaipur was the capital of Mewar kingdom so its architecture is extremely impressive. It is the land of Rajputs and there prosperous art. Let’s begin our journey to Udaipur’s top 6 destinations.
City palace
The City palace is the one of the finest palace I have ever seen. When you look at the main entrance gate “Tripolia”, you will realize that the royal era has begun. City palace is situated at the bank of Lake Pichola. It is the best place for historical visit. This palace is converted into museum. Once you enter in the palace it would be hard to come out just because you want to see all antique articles, paintings, decorative furniture and utensils from the royal era repeatedly. There is also courtyards, terraces, corridors and gardens. The painting and antique articles are amazing. You can see a complete view from City palace. When you see this palace at night from another bank of Pichola you haven’t seen before. When you look to architecture of the city palace you realize that our ancestor have good potential.
