My Element villain's name is plutonumous and his main element is plutonium. I decided to pick plutonium out of all the elements of the periodic table because it is known to be the most dangerous element and that's what villains are “dangerous”. My villain looks really generous, brilliant and strong since he is covered with layers of plutonium as well as plutonium in his veins this is done to his advantage because plutonium has a very high melting point so he could go through fire without being hurt, he also has really big eyes that glow green to make him look scary they become red depending on his mood, he has normal mouth since that doesn't really grant him any advantages however he's got really big ears so his hearing could be very precise …show more content…
My element villain has a hideout, and that could be found in Gabon, Africa as well in a power plant that isn't in use however it looks to be new and for that reason people try to power it with plutonium but it just falls down to the bottom and that's where my villain's hideout is, so people suppose that there doing something good by trying to power the community however there just putting themselves at risk. My element superheroes strengths are: My element villain has a hideout, and that could be found in Gabon, Africa as well in a power plant that isn't in use however it looks to be new and for that reason people try to power it with plutonium but it just falls down to the bottom and that's where my villain's hideout is, so people think that there doing something good by trying to power the community however there just putting themselves at risk. Another strength is the fact that plutonium is a very dense material, this is an honorable thing because if he were to burn he would still wipe out some people since the plutonium is so

Williams 1 Sam Williams English III: A-2 Mrs. Cox 6 April 2018 A Time of Great Change The 1950s, but more specifically 1950 to 1955, were a time of incredible progress and change for America and the world as a whole. The period between 1950 and 1955 was one of the most influential times in history because of the unique political landscape, groundbreaking scientific achievements, and major world events. The first half of the 1950s was extremely important to world history because the political landscape shaped much of the policy and ideologies of today. The Red Scare of the 1950s still influences Americans’ opinions of the government, communism, and Russia.
Superheroes expand on the imagination of what humans can be. They have qualities that make the impossible possible. There are two superheros that have qualities that are more realistic. Ironman and Batman have no powers, they are just two men who have the resources to make the world a better place. There are multiple traits to a superhero: the uniform, the secret identity, the hideout, the sidekick, and some other characteristics
“The Nuclear Waste” In the essay “Nuclear Waste” author Richard A. Muller the main point is the danger of nuclear waste and how politics and Scientific are handling the situation. Politicians and scientists are in favor of more research to found out answers because they both share the responsibility for the nuclear waste. There are many discuss nuclear waste whether you are pro-nuke or anti-nuke and how dangerous could be. An interesting fact is that Muller claims that Colorado River water is more dangerous than storing the nuclear waste also that uranium will progressively become less radioactive.
In “Nuclear Waste” by Richard A. Muller, he expresses his concerns about radioactive material in Yucca Mountain that will be left behind for thousands of years and the unfamiliar dangers that we face. He starts by stating that nuclear waste is one of the biggest issues that our government faces even though they highly follow their “safe” nuclear waste disposal. He stresses how the government prototype nuclear waste facility at Yucca Mountain is supposed to be so safe, but they built it on a site that was created by volcanic activity. Scientist have contemplated many different ways to dispose of nuclear waste, but they all seem like the worse than their previous ideas and some still are considering more nuclear power. After his intense evaluation
In a time of war and uncertainty, society turns to powerful leaders and the words they speak for guidance. The American people rely on simple phrases of encouragement and hope to persuade them they are indeed safe. In President John F. Kennedy’s inauguration, “Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You,” he uses current concerns of the American people to argue that the world must peacefully unite as one while inspiring nationalism throughout America. Using worries of the Cold War, Kennedy encourages international unitement. The Cold War, starting in the early 1950s, was still prominent during Kennedy’s inauguration in 1961, causing tension worldwide.
Jose: The use of two tables, one for evaluating the software and another for evaluating the vendor, is a highly systematic approach that made the presented facts easily understandable and comparable. Sometimes the software could be well-suited for an application, but the vendor support could be lacking and vice versa; therefore, it is a wise decision to compare the strengths and weaknesses of both to be comprehensively safe. Also, I agree with your stated biases stemming from Roman, who is narrowly focusing on user-related aspects, sales and marketing media, and cost. I think that a suitable countermeasure to offset his biases is to test each of candidate software with test data. By following this approach, the trial of any software will test
Imagine that there is a decision to be made to launch the atomic bomb or not. The bomb was launched but was it justified? Years ago during WWll, a scientist Albert Einstein sent a letter to the president. It said that Germany was creating a bomb that would cause major destruction and the United States had to make one as well. Scientists started making the bomb and it became the Project Manhattan.
The most prominent characteristic of a hero is their strength.
My arch nemesis is dilute acids. My costume is red for the fire and grey on the rest because the element Polonium is grey. My slippers are green because that’s my favorite color.
Imagine a world without any villains, there would be no heroes and life would be very boring. To have a good hero the author needs to create a very evil villain. A villain is a person in a story, movie, or play whose evil actions are important to the story. In the “Odyssey” by Homer, the villain Poseidon is very evil because he is vengeful, smart and powerful, but the white coats from “Maximum Ride” by J. Patterson are more evil than Poseidon because they are cruel, inhumane, and betraying. In the Odyssey, some people believe that Poseidon was the worst villain because he is vengeful, smart, and powerful, but many would agree that he is not as wicked as the white coats.
Physics 132 Hasbrouck 212 Cassidy Grace Lab 6: Radioactivity Abstract In this experiment we studied the strength of radioactive elements using the properties of ionizing radiation. The sources we used in this experiment are alpha, beta, and gamma radiation. We also studies the principles of the Rutherford experiments in that the nucleus was found to be very small because the forces that hold it together and also that the protons and the neutrons reside in the nucleus.
If we speak of Medusa as a Monster, Scylla must come in mind, because she is the true Monster of all Metamorphosed creatures. In my belief Scylla shares a bond with Lucy Grealy. In this section of my Research, I will show this thing which I called the bond. All in order to shine another light upon Autobiography and Metamorphosis in Greek Mythology. Scylla was born as a Nymph as the “ daughter of Phorcys who is a A Greek sea-god, son of Pontus and Gaia ” ( Lindemans , Micha F. Web ).
In order for the fusion to take place, It takes very high temperatures and great pressure. Nuclear energy takes place in the sun. This is where hydrogen nuclei fuse at very high temperatures. The temperatures are around about 10 million degrees Celsius and about 18 degrees fahrenheit. Do to the temperatures being so high it produces a huge amount of heat and light energy.
