‘United we stand!’
‘United we stand!’, these words reminds me the story of the farmer and his quarrelling sons which I have probably read when I was only eight years old. The story was about a farmer who had five sons, who always quarreled and had no unity. The farmer so decided to teach them a lesson and called everyone and handed them a bundle of five sticks, asking them to try to break them. None could win the challenge and when the sticks were separated and each stick was handed to each son, they were easily able to break the individual sticks.
The above story needs no further explanation of what it was trying to teach. The fact that pupils are taught to unite from a very early age shows the importance of unity. Examples for the role of

The story was about a farmer who had five sons, who always quarreled and had no unity. The farmer soon decided to teach them a lesson. He called on all five of them and handed them a bundle of five sticks, asking them each to try to break them. None could succeed. But when the sticks were separated and each stick handed to each son, they were easily able to break the individual sticks. This story needs no further explanation of what it was trying to teach.
In my case, I had learned of this story at my school. The fact that pupils are taught to unite from a very early age shows the importance of unity. Examples for the role of unity are countless. If we look around us, it becomes quite obvious that without unity we cannot stand, instead we can only fall as the great quote has said – “United we stand, divided we fall”.
Starting from a small family to a football or a cricket team to a city or to a country or even the world, without unity nothing can go right. If there is no unity in a family, there will be nothing but unhappiness. If the players in a team do not coordinate, it will prove impossible for the team to win. If there is no unity between the citizens in a country, the country is bound to divide and if there is no understanding between countries, nothing can stop wars to take
Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that” In the article, Leonard Pitt emphasizes that the tragic event will not weaken them but will bring them in unity. Leonardo Pitts emphasizes that the attack will bring together the nation by using the rhetorical devises anaphora and parallelism.
Family is a very a complex thing, there can be many things that can tear a family apart. In life there will be inner family struggles, but you will will need to find a way to work through it. While there is tension between Berniece and Boy Willie it begins to build in a dispute over the family piano. Boy Willie is arguing with Berniece over the piano and says he should get it because he is going to buy land,so he will build of of it which the ancestors would have wanted.
E pluribus unum, meaning “out of many, one” is the unofficial motto of the United States of America. Yet how can a nation remain united when ethnic diversity has frequently led to the Balkanization of political states? America thrives as a result of the common sense of national pride existing among citizens that stems from the idea that the United States has received divine intervention on numerous occasions, and as a result of the fact that unlike many other nations, America was founded with the purpose of being diverse and providing freedom for all. Various events throughout the history of the United States have led to the belief that the country has experienced guidance from a divine entity in order to flourish in the way that it has. This
Nothing is more basic than the set of laws and rights that U.S. Constitution provides for us as Americans. But very few people know where the Founding Fathers actually got their inspiration. Contrary to popular belief, the U.S. constitution was heavily influenced by an old Indian Confederacy born in the mid-16th century. This confederation, however, is the mighty Iroquois Nation, who has been living by their own constitution, unified in peace, for over 800 years. The founding fathers were brilliant men, and yes, they were very intelligent, but they did not just pull words out of their rear ends and write it down on a piece of paper.
One of the most interesting idea that comes to mind is how these kids grown up and end up in this situation. It all starts when the kids are in kindergarten. They aren 't really able to see that they are getting the bad end of the stick and the danger around them. The kids tend to start seeing the real world around the
Nothing can be accomplished without unity of nation. Jefferson stated, “Let us, then, fellow citizens, unite with one heart and one mind” (Commager 134). Jefferson understands the need

When no influence is strong enough to unify people, they divide. They struggle” (91). During times of instability, the “influence” that once brought people together is long forgotten, people only look out for themselves. This stimulates the division of like people and as a result, the community struggles. She examines every person around her to make sense of her thoughts and values and to find her place in the world.
Without peace, it would be hard to achieve certain levels of trust, cooperation, and inclusiveness for societies to be united and resilient. In 2001 when
The strategies in “The Strive of It” relate to the ideas of the Circle of Courage by is that the “Habits of Experts” (Cushman, 2010, p.53) is comparable to the Circle of Courage by that a child learns independence when shown by experts on how things are done correctly by asking questions, relying on others and welcoming critiquing to master something one pursues. In the Circle of Courage, children learn that belonging is part of the big picture of learning as, in The Strive of It, children learn that “kids described involved interdisciplinary projects that had students work in teams toward an outcome that mattered to them.” (Cushman, 2010, p.54) in which case, togetherness benefits the learning of something by belonging with others to
The five members went to school together, were friends together and also decided to quit school together. Their school teacher Leonard Skinner who followed the guidelines set by the school demanded for each of the five members to get a haircut before they could return to school. The members refused and never returned to school. This tight-knit group practiced together continuously. Their lives intertwined with each other and they became a close-knit family.
The movie, Freedom Writers did a very good job displaying the poor education system that was changing the lives of students already barely surviving in the violence and gangs. The use of the comparison of visuals what something the producers seemed to commonly use. The comparison of good to poor school materials was agonizing to see, especially with a up-close shot to Mrs. Gruwell trying to keep a smile on her face. Children are the future of our world, but many still will disown kids that aren 't the same ethnic background. Realizing this was essential, and luckily Erin Gruwell was able to do it and ultimately save her kids lives.
The idea behind this is that the children will understand that everybody is somebody and that everybody is unique in their own way and we need to respect
These skills are very important in solving the future problems. School is a place that can hold a lot of tension and pressures for kids of all ages. It is also one of the first places (after the home) where a child begins learning how to interact with peers. This can, of course, lead to many conflicts. In order to help students not turn into bullies or become paralyzed with shyness, teaching methods of conflict resolution is a great tool.
The Chinese socialist harmonious society seems to shine the stunning light to have a better prospect at the domestic level under the phrases that promised to reach universal prosperity, to combat corruption, to accelerate socio-economic development, to correct injustice. The meaning of Hu 's harmonious society is not merely a guidance of internal policy, rather symbolized a normative claim that the Chinese attitude to the world order. As for a harmonious world mentioned at the UN 's 60th-anniversary summit is set up as an external policy.
