This situation is sad and heart breaking and sad to many families because their loves ones and friends are being killed by the police force for no reason at all. We the United States of American can stop this issue with no problem we just need everyone’s help and
I do agree with Phil Ochs that young men and young women had a moral obligation to oppose controversial wars like the Vietnam War and to engage in acts of non-violent civil disobedience. There was unnecessary fire bombing in Indochina causing many innocent people to die while many Americans were being killed. Based on the movie that I watched on Tuesday, it seemed as though the gatherings of students turned violent because of the law enforcement. One scene I clearly remember is the one were the students were blocking the halls and then turned violent when the police started beating the students, violence only leads to violence so it caused the students to become more hateful towards police, making the students violent as well. Furthermore, Karleton
This is a common question for many people and a struggle for many nations across the country. Religion and government should not be combined because of the damaging effects of genocide, holy war, and terrorism. Genocide is the intentional killing of a large group of people. In the crucible, we see a mass of people hanged for the accusations of others in their community. In the crucible on page 109, Danforth is talking to Mary Warren and states, “You will confess yourself or you will hang.” This is not the first time Danforth has said this to people in the
Medea surpassed the regulations by murdering her family and the ones with higher status. Jason degraded his status by not being able to obey the regulations that were placed on him. He was unsuccessful in taking care of his family and understanding his wife and children. It is extremely shocking and unforgivable if a woman took revenge on her husband through murder in a society where women were always looked down upon. But the whole society overlooked Jason’s actions of betraying his own family and blood in secrecy.
Conflict and resolution in Lay That Trumpet in Our Hands is also a big theme developer. The conflict is that the KKK is hurting the town that the family lives in. They have hurt people that they knew and loved and killed one of their best friends, Marvin. The family tries dealing with it themselves and Marvin until the KKK took it a step too far and killed Marvin. Then, the family deals with the KKK in a different way and confronts the NAACP.
Although children aren’t the only ones that cause people to feel emotional but family members can also cause people to get sentimental. This is the reason why Martin Luther King says, “ But when you have seen vicious mobs lynch your mothers and fathers at will and drown your brothers and sisters at whim”(10). The African American community gets riled up and they are willing to fight for justice. He also says this to refute when the clergymen said that they knew their community, the clergy don’t know their community, though, because they haven’t been through what
Citizens not only experience discrimination in the work field, they also experience it at school, stores, movies, theaters, or while seeking health care. Recently, the biggest outrage of discrimination has been by police brutality towards innocent black or minority citizens. According to the Washington Post, 908 people have been assaulted, shot, and brutally murdered by police in 2016, most of which are native American, black, or Hispanic. The 14th amendment’s purpose is meant to protect all citizens of the United States, disregarding race, but why has no justice been served to the deaths of these innocent
Black lives matter movement should also argue, stop black on black crime. There are lots of violence going on today, particularly within our own community. We have young black men killing each other over drugs and other nonsense that may torment our community. Not to mention, the constant reminder of the black on black crime that is plastered on the news daily. It saddens me to know our ancestors endured so much hardship and we turn around and kill one another.Understand know crime is right, however, we contradict our actions with so much black on black violence toward each other. I believe if we have more strong leaders like we once had. Our community would come together. We have seen changes with martin Luther King Jr and Thurgood Marshall.
It delivers an emotion that a lot of people can’t truly feel since they didn’t go through this horrible event. The officers gave the victims horrific choices that no one should ever make. Why does this book matter to all of us? It matters a lot, 6 million innocent people were pushed passed their limits, brutally punished, and murdered, yet the world kept silent. I think more people should know what went on in these camps and how the victims had to fight for their lives to survive.
So is it actually ever gonna end or die ? That 's the real question everyone has thinking about because no one knows if it ever will.Well my answer is no because there is a lot of a racism out there at this moment and it 's gonna excised forever in my opinion.Well now is just hope it don 't get worse now or in the future. also my reasoning why i say no is because all the stuff that is happening like the cops killing the innocent black unarmed children. After michael brown 's fatal shooting, an unarmed black men are seven times more likely than whites to die by police gunfire. police killing have sparked a national movement in america for
