Young innocent african american lives have been taken away because of police brutality. In America police brutality should be controlled and we should get justice for the lives that have been taken away and the killer is still not in jail for the innocent life they have taken. Many african americans have sadly been a victim of this police brutality, whether they were choked to death like Eric Garner or shot to death by an officer. Racism is still occurring and sadly it’s the people who should be protecting us, instead they are killing the people of different color. If it wasn’t a cop maybe the murder would’ve been charged right away and have went to jail, but just because you have a badge doesn’t mean the same rules aren’t applied to you. For those who do get justice it’s sometimes not enough. As if the judge is doing so little for the justice of that person just because the person was african american. People don’t get justice because of the color of their skin but if it was a caucasian person there would be so much more done versus the fact that a person of color was murdered by a police officer.
Innocent lives have been taken away because of police brutality. Eric Garner was a victim of police brutality. He was choked to death by a police officer. Eric would say “I can’t breathe,” and the police would continue choking him until Eric collapsed. Before that happened Eric wasn’t doing anything wrong for a police to put their hands on him the way that they did. Racism is a big factor which is causing police to act
