My top priority is to make an impact that affects others internal and external for the rest of their life in a positive way. My academic and extracurricular activities mark me and make me who am I today they are equally important and extra activities are what I looked forward to throughout the day of school. Since I was a kid I always thought about being a singer but I couldn’t sing. Later when I was old enough to figure out my career path I felt that I was wanted to do anything in criminal justice. The activities I took apart of in school that helped me strengthen my decision was Skills USA and Criminal Justice.
I participate in UIL academic competitions USA Skills Completions. My competing is Quiz Bowl which is a criminal justice based competition testing skill set of students and Building Search this has offered me yet more opportunities to expand my talents and improve them. I enjoy helping and volunteering with Criminal Justice and I believe law enforcement is community originated. The great thing about community service is that there are so many opportunities right in your very own neighborhood. You can dedicate as little or as much of your free time in volunteering for something that has impacted you or something that you have interest in. Police officer are always there to led hands to those in need, which is something I enjoy to do for other and volunteering is one plus for being in law enforcement. Volunteering has made me a well-rounded person and given me the opportunity to help those who have once become a victim of our societal issues get back on their feet. Service is something that I enjoy to do because I get to help others. There are a lot of people that need help in this world, and small acts of service can go a long way. Throughout high school I have done many acts of service. I have volunteered at many different organizations in the Cedar Valley. During Christmas time I have rang the bell for the Salvation Army.
Three Kansas City police score unit officer’s Jeffrey M. Bell, Dustin Sillings, and Darryl M. Forrest were charged with theft of federal government property, conspiracy against rights and deprivation of rights under color of the law. The Kansas City police officer were caught by FBI (Federal bureau of Investigation). The Kansas City police officers stole several items and cash in a house that had surveillance cameras during a staged sting operation. The type of situation always makes people wonder what would make these people want to do something like this? Why would the officers discarded their commitment to the city to protect and serve as they swore to do so?
State Trooper Career Law enforcement is a system by which members of society act in an organized manner to enforce the law and rules governed by society. By, investigating, rehabilitating, or punishing people who violate the rules and norms governing that society (Wikipedia). I will want to be a Maryland State Trooper agent. Being a Trooper agent will give me more opportunity to give back to my community and help protect and serve people of my country and my state. I’ve seen that there are many different types of Maryland law enforcement career opportunities from being a part of the local police officer to, larger field of federal agencies that are out there.

It also enables anybody to have that long-lasting and significant impact on society. Providing volunteer services gives me the opportunity to help someone in need while also advancing my life skills and wisdom. I like participating in community service because it is really fulfilling for anyone who gives back to their community. As I learn how it teaches me compassion and understanding, I also think it's crucial. This is a pillar that I consider to be of utmost importance.

Life has its twists and turns, but my overall life goal is simple, help others. I want to make an impact on others life, even if it is a small change. For instance, being able to hold a pencil is the difference between a student being able to graduate from Kindergarten and not be able to continue on to first grade. Ever since grade school, I was passionate about working in the field of medicine, and science. I enjoyed anatomy, medical spelling and terminology, and reading about the healthcare industry. Because of my passion for healthcare, I decided to to attend Health Sciences High. There, I was given the best opportunities, such as, medical internships and college health courses. My plans and goals had turned me into a mature young adult.
It is my desire to attend the United States Naval Academy. My goal is to follow in my father 's footsteps as an officer in the naval branch of our armed forces. My father began his career as an enlisted seaman twenty years ago and is now serving as a Lieutenant. Being the son of a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, I have always had an interest in the military and a desire to also serve and follow his footsteps. It was not until high school when I decided that I wanted to attend the Naval Academy.
Doing what I love and being able to support myself and loved ones is important to me. I am a very independent person and I like to do things my way. I like to set individual goals everyday, whether that means doing my homework before a certain time, or completing something for the week. They help me get my work done on time and efficiently.
Throughout my high school career, I was forced into many situations where I was challenged to connect with my peers and serve as a role model for future students. Whether it be my involvement in the school marching band, or helping students in community tutoring sessions, I have always made it my goal to better the people around me through my own efforts. Joining the school marching band at the beginning of my freshman year of high school was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
