Envoirmental pollution is nowadays problem in the whole world . Air pollution is of the worry because it directly hits over respiratory system causing breathing and other and other respiratory problems. Air pollution mainly comes from the sources like powerplants , industrial smog , hospital wastes , automobiles. The concept of brick kiln pollution comes under the topic of industrial emission . air pollution is man made as well a natural . industrialpollutions are examples of man made ollutions , while the dust , radioactive decays , carbon dioxides are example of natural
Air pollution resulting from brick kilns is the major problem of Pakistan in general and Peshawar in particular .
My area for research is brick kilns in charsadda. Charsadda is a district where the brick kilns are near the

The black smoke from the brick kiln is carbon dioxide(CO2) , sulpher dioxide (SO2), hydrocarbons , nitrogen dioxide ( NO2) , chloroflourocarbons , ammonia (NH3) and ozone. Co2 is one of the leading pollutants . SO2 is formed from combustion of fuels and coals. NO2 forms a brown layer over the atmosphere. Ozone is a mixture of solid aand liquids , even in its purest form it can cause illnesses , diseases , chestpain , shortness of breath etc. . when these poisonous substances are realesedthey affect the soil plants , lakes , people around and the people working in the kilns . these chemicals are hazardious to human , marine and all living things
In KPK ,Peshawar Charsadda and Mardan are the major producers of bricks . Approximately 450 brick kilns are in Peshawar and areas around Peshawar .
The productions of brick kilns haveeconomics and its pollution has envoirmental impact
Envoirmental Impact :
• Inefficent use of fuel
-if the kiln is not constructed properly it leads to air leakage from the kiln and increase
Smoke is a mixture of solid and liquid particulates that is very harmful if inhaled. Smoke contains a vast array of harmful carcinogens such as sulfur dioxide, benzene, and cyanide. All of these chemicals are linked to cause cancer. One common cancer that fire fighters are prone to develop is lymphoma. Smoke is dangerous, but a big contributing factor
He saw the smoke from a block away. It was thick and black. Like death casting his shadow over the streets. It made the air smelled of burning wood. Mason looked up and saw it.
“A painting showing an early factory plant shows that the smoke rising from the factory was black and full of coal ashes, affecting the air. Also, because the factory is next to water, it can be assumed that the factory has dumped into this water, causing it also to become polluted”(Document 3). Yes, wonderful products came from these factories; things like clothing and cars, but coal was being used to power these machines that produced. Black coal ash rose up into the sky and was being breathed in by the people and animals. Coal is not the best thing for people’s lungs.
We nowadays are in demand of many different resources. To have these resources, people use some modern technologies which is efficient but may be costly. Moreover, these processes may release some impacts on our environment. In this assignment, I will write about fracking with it 's influences on air quality.
Air pollutions rapid increase is not without our help, many causes and sources of this problem are attributed to
Some of these fumes can cause brain damage if breathed for too long and the Industrial Revolution was one of the biggest causes of pollution. They were
The Industrial Revolution in Britain had both positive and negative long-term effects on the environment. Positive long-term effects include: Environmental awareness: The negative environmental impacts of the Industrial Revolution eventually led to increased environmental awareness and regulations that helped to reduce pollution and protect natural resources. Sustainable practices: The negative environmental impacts of the Industrial Revolution also led to the development of sustainable practices and technologies that help to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainability.
Nevertheless, Chapter 1 tries to understand why atrazine, DDT, and PCBs are some lead causes of the
Energy is a key factor in today's society, especially in Kentucky. Kentucky's main energy resource is coal, 91.8 percent of our energy comes from this resource but coal is nonrenewable, meaning that there is a limited amount of this type of fuel. Coal mining is also detrimental to the environment, people living and working in coal mining communities have a higher chance of getting lung cancer. with surface mining, this has been linked as a cause for poisoning local residences from the chemicals used in the mountaintop mining. there are still issues with the environment and natural wildlife in the surrounding areas of the coal mining as well.
In this experiment we will be looking at the effects that combustion has on the air around it and the bi-products that it produces in a confined space. I will be asking the question of why fire fighters have to crawl in a burning building and what must be done when someone is stuck in a burning building. The experiment will showcase the following chemical reaction: Fire + Oxygen + Hydrocarbons => Carbon Dioxide
For this situation, people have a broad contribution to excessively polluted air since we emanate such outrageous levels of toxins that cause significant issues, for example, environmental change and ozone exhaustion. Because of our un human ways, the harmful air toxins, chemicals that shape corrosive rain and ground-level ozone has harmed trees, crops, natural life, lakes and different regions of water in Blacktown. Our transportation advances more than half of the carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides, and very nearly a quarter of the hydrocarbons released into our air. The human race has become capable of affecting Blacktown and the atmosphere that borders the Earth. Everyday in our neighbourhood, air contamination keeps us from going to work and school as it develops a large number of sicknesses through
1. Introduction Air pollutin is a public health concern and it has been since the discovery of fire. Incidents and episodes of air pollution have been recorded throughout the history. Air pollution is divided into two, it is the indoor air pollution and the outdoor air pollution. Indoor air pollution is produced in households or at offices by pollutants such as tobacco smoke, household products or pesticides.
In automobile an exhaust gas is emitted during a combustion process. The exhaust gas is actually a combination of many different gases such as N2, CO2, H2O and O2. Though some are harmless, there are few that are harmful and are considered major pollutants. The major pollutants are Hydrocarbons (HC), Nitrogen oxide (NOx), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Sulfur dioxide (SO2), etc. These gases can affect human health in both short and long term.
After you use materials like coal oil and natural gases you are polluting the air with many toxic gases wich create what is known by global warming affecting the ozone layers being heated up from inside and destroyed therefore letting more sun rays enter our atmosphere
There are many problems that threatens society and one problem in particular, air pollution is a problem that threatens everyone. Air pollution is the contamination of air with pollutants that are harmful to humans, animals, and the environment. It began to be a problem when humans discovered the uses of fire and then the amount of air pollution exponentially grew after the industrial revolution, and is still a problem even today. The largest causes of air pollution are from human activities such as burning of fossil fuels and gas emissions from manufacturing plants. There are ways that ordinary people can help contribute to prevent air pollution and or else face the dangerous consequences of polluted air.
