Abstract:- An experimental work was carried out to observe the change in strength of Cement-Mortar which is reinforced with Polypropylene fiber. Compression test and Split tensile test were performed. Polypropylene fiber can enhance both Compressive as well as Split Tensile strength. Specimens with various proportion of fiber ranging from 0.0% to 2.5% were prepared and tested.

Fine Aggregate
The sand used for this work was locally procured. Sieve Analysis of the sand was carried out in the laboratory as per IS 383-1970[7]. Result conformed that fine aggregate of zone III. The properties of fine aggregate are given in table 2.

Experimental work: In order to study the effects of PP fiber on the behavior of cement composites i.e. cement-mortar having ratio 1:4 in terms of compressive strength and split tensile strength, tests were carried out. Both type of specimen were casted i.e. with PP fiber & without PP fiber. For the case with PP fiber, it was reinforced by 12 mm length fibers. The variable percentage of fiber content used in this research work was 0.0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.50, 2.0, and 2.5 % by weight of cement. Every 15 specimens were casted for each type of PP fiber percentage and total 105 specimens at end (fig. 1 &2). All

Increase in Compressive strength is obtained with 0.25% of polypropylene fiber by weight of cement in cement-mortar.
Increase in Spilt Tensile strength is obtained with 0.75% of polypropylene fiber by weight of cement in cement-mortar.

www.strombergarchitectural.com/technical/gfrc-design-cast-build.pdf 15/1/2018 Makeup GFRC is a combination of fine aggregate, cement, water, polymer and glass fibre. The key to GFRC is the glass-fibre reinforcement. The glass fibres take the place of steel in a wet-cast mix, which allow GFRC to develop much greater strengths than standard wet-cast concrete. This then allows us to cast thinner, lighter sections but also larger in surface area if need be than ordinary reinforced concrete panels.
We walked along the beach a little more and talked and looked at the location of a whale skull that used to be buried in the sand. The rock was actually much smoother than . We also took a look at some possible bones and skeletal remains along with concretions. The concretions were rather large comparable to smart car in size. Concretions are solid masses formed around some type of matter that will change the chemistry of the rock slightly, helping it become harder and less susceptible to erosion.
Hailing from the small merchant village of Darkhearth Sanctuary, a little boy named Brickers Stonecutter was born the youngest of a middle class family. Both of his parents worked as merchants, and he had four sisters and a brother. Being taught at a young age that violence isn't always the answer, Brickers made a vow to himself that he won't lay hands on anyone who didn't deserve it. As the years went by, Brickers grew up and his family life started taking a turn for the worse. His father lost his job and started drinking heavily with whatever money he and his mom made; by this time his sisters and brother were out of the house and he was working as a merchant for the local temple.
Four to six cores were collected from the nine transects. After the cores were taken, the scientists then examined the weight, grain size, carbonate content, and organic matter content of each sample. Along with this,
Sedimentology of the Sharon Formation The Sharon Conglomerate is the lowest deposits in the Pennsylvanian of Ohio, and a member of the Pottsville Formation (Conrey, 1921). Mrakovich (1974) describes the deposit as “a sheet-like body having a comparatively flat top and a very irregular base which lies unconformably on Mississippian strata of the Cuyahoga Formation.”
Its composition consists of Half Dome Granodiorite, which consists of quartz, feldspar, hornblende, and
I think that these properties were not tested because it would have taken much longer to check the mass, and boiling point. Testing for the scent of each of the powders may haven’t been much of a help as they probably all smell very similar. Also, we don’t have a stove top in the science classroom so checking the boiling point would be difficult. Another reason as to why that we didn’t check mass is because it would have been difficult to get the exact same amount of each substance for the measurements would be accurate. Finally, all those physical properties would result in quantitative measurements and we didn’t include any other quantitative measurements in this

The poorly sorted nature of the conglomerates, considered with the inclusion of wood fragments in the older conglomerate members and the graded sandstones and mudstones throughout the formation suggest deposition occurred through successions of debris flows. Presence of volcanics in the lithic fragments further indicate volcanic activity in the process of sedimentation as well—as debris flows associated with lahars are the likely source of the slope failures. Deposition environment was moderate to deep marine, as mudstone deposits require low energy depositional environment, but the style of sedimentation indicate deposition was not on a continental shelf. This is further supported by inclusion of the large overturned clast from an older member within the formation. Cross-bedding, graded bedding, and scouring surfaces provide 3 lines of evidence establishing the northern contact of the formation as the original upward oriented surface.
Assignment 2 CVE80006 Infrastructure Deterioration Modelling Concrete Crack Diagnosis Assignment The phenomenon of cracking in concrete may depend on several factors such as the amount of loading, rate of bleeding, amount of stress and strain generated in concrete, the composition of concrete and method of fabrication. The cracking of concrete has become severe due to advance construction process which demands high strength structure requiring an increase in stress, strain, and deflection resistance. The cracks in concrete are mainly classified as structural crack and non-structural crack.
Tupac Amaru Shakur was an African-American rapper, poet, and record producer during the 1990’s. In his adolescent years, he attended the Baltimore School for the Arts where he took acting and dance classes, like ballet. He was taught radical politics by his mother, which helped him develop ideas about topics he would later use in his many works. At an early age, Tupac had seen the injustices of the real world. His mother was a former Black Panther activist who turned to substance abuse during Tupac’s childhood.

A small amount of sand was added after the layer of cotton. After that, a layer of silica filled almost 1/3 of the column. Finally, another small amount of sand was added just above the silica. The column was given a little tap with an aspirator to make the silica more compact. Figure 2.
