Poseidon is the Greek god of the sea. His father was Kronos, and his mother is Rhea. Poseidon’s brothers are Zeus and Hades. He has one weapon and that is a trident. Poseidon is the creator of the horse. Poseidon is married to Amphitrite. Poseidon’s Roman name is Neptune. He is also one of the three Greek great gods. Poseidon can cause earthquakes, so he is sometimes referred to as the Earth-Shaker. He is usually looked at as an older man with a white beard and hair. His trident was supposedly made by three cyclopes. He is the father of the first pegasus, a pegasus is a winged horse by having a kid with Medusa. Poseidon and the goddess Athena had some people choose who the city of Athens, and Athena won. There was a sports event called Isthmia
