Tourism mainly means to travel to a different place for a limited period of time. It can either be within the same country or to a different country. According to WTO (1993), tourism is the activity of a person travelling to and staying in places outside the usual environment for not more than one consecutive year for leisure, business or any other purpose. Tourism is beneficial both to the host destination and the tourist. Travelling is one of the most valuable and enriching experiences in our lives; increasing our knowledge, opening our minds, enriching our spirits, extending new moral values; and you can find many destinations in the world that would fulfill your desires. Thousands and thousands of people are travelling every day to new places, whether it is for leisure, educational or health purposes. Some people use travelling as a means of releasing stress while some do it as a hobby. Tourism brings people close around the globe while helping to enhance the status of various countries. Most tourist sites have gained their names as UNESCO heritage sites, mostly because tourists have and are still visiting those areas. It cannot be denied that tourism also has its negative impact on societies. These impacts have forms varying from polluting of the environment, destroying of nature and culture changes. However, the advantages of tourism overshadow these negative impacts because the various environmental preservation and improvement programs have been put in place
