All of these poultry would be possible in the agricultural torus. We use different types of animals, because in order to have a proper diet, only vegetarian will not provide the diet. However in order to have a proper diet, and have proper supply of nutrients we require the non-vegetarian food like meat. These rearing of the animals will be done in a separate torus which is left around diaskedasi torus half of it will constitute the marine life and next half of it will have different animals that can be used for rearing purpose. Hens/ roosters
Chicken family constitutes the hens and the roosters. Hens are female so they produce eggs and roosters are male and can be used for production of meat.
The life expectancy is different for both hen and roosters. Rooster has the life expectancy of 5to 7 years. The life expectancy of hen is 5 to 8 years. They consume small grains likes’ rice (uncooked). They can be used for the production of eggs and as well as meat. 5 to 6 months is the sexual maturity period of hens.
GOATS
Goats have a specialty they can survive in any temperature ranges. The goat milk is very rich in proteins. A goat can be useful weather it is both dead and as well as alive.
Life expectancy: 15 to 18 years
Milk production: 2.7 liters per day.
Sexual maturity: 150
