“As long as poverty, injustice, gross inequality exist in our world, none of us can truly rest” (Nelson Mandela). Poverty is one distressing situation that majority of people in developing countries have to contend with in their daily lives. It is common among the low and middle class income in these developing countries such as Nepal. It became a reality they have to face everyday which they cannot escape. Poverty has become one of the identity of Nepal because of the country instability and the way the country function which perpetuate itself from generation to generation. Nepal remains one of the least developed country because of the social injustice in the society, politically instability, the geographic proximity, and the economic system Majorities of Nepalese have little or no access to primary health care, education, clean drinking water and sanitation services. Life is a constant struggle for survival. Children’s are send to work rather than school which the same cycle repeats over the next generation. Education differs in Nepal, rich people had a proper education whereas, poor did not. This causes social injustices and inequality among the Nepal society. “Children born in poor families in Nepal still do not have access to proper education and almost two-thirds of the adult population in Nepal cannot read or write” (Poverty in Nepal). My research quote connects with my thesis because it shows how these social injustices have impacted the live of the the citizens
