Setting and Participants The aim of this research is to identify students' understanding of historical facts by interpreting it through comic strips. This research was carried out in one of the all-female school in the country; students from Year 9 (average age 14.5 years) were invited to be part of the study. The participants were required to attend history classes as stated in their schedule during the school hours. The students were coming from various socio-economic backgrounds with mixed ability in learning area; however it was important to mention that one of the students was physically challenged. Her participation was appreciated and considered part of the research studies. A total of 24 students from the same class were selected and these students took history and art subject as part of their ‘O' level examination
