PREFACE:
I was in a prayer meeting and the prayer was so intensed that people were wailing, some were crying, some were jumping up and claping their hands, some were rolling on the floor, in the same place there was a particular lady kneeling down and praying as well. She came to me at the end of the prayer meeting and ask a question, how do you people pray so well, it was as if fire was burning everywhere in the church. The shouting and the wailing was like a bomb it was really good i felt like jumping inside that fire, all of a sudden every weight in me was gone, i was relieved in my spirit, i have never felt this way before, i believe something has happened to me.
I told her; yes prayer is more than a bomb my beloved. When we pray sincerely

to be spiritual is just simply total obedience to God, it’s not about the shouting or the silence you potrail before God it’s about your trust, your attitude of love toward God and toward men.
Hebrews 12:14; “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Nahum 1:7; The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him
Isaiah 59:1-2; Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear.
Mark 11:25; When you stand praying forgive, if you have aught against any: that your father also which is in Heaven may forgive you your trespasses. Before you speak out as you think about what you are about to say God heard you. Like God heard Hannah even when she didn’t speak out only her lips was
The experiences patients go through are one like no other. They come to, “...express a spiritual realm and a loving presence that some refer to as God…” (Lichfield). During this period they might also come, “into contact with relatives that have been deceased, and at the same time, recalling previous events that occured in one's life” (Lichfield). These experiences have been documented to change people's lives as some go on to new professions and ending marriages as a result of their subconscious experience.
Engel v. Vitale: Prayer in the Public Schools is a book written by Julia C. Loren. Loren’s main purpose for writing this book is to inform us about the history of the Engel v. Vitale trial, an important trial which determined that prayer was not acceptable in the public schools quote as the book says the “In 1962, the U.S. Supreme Court handed down one of its most controversial decisions of the twentieth century.” In this book, Loren was not bias towards either Engel’s or Vitale’s side of the case as she did not appear to be very fond of one particular side and gave information regarding both sides of the case. With that being said, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in history or even the Engel v. Vitale case itself because the author was very straightforward in telling about both sides of the case without leaving anything out. Engel v. Vitale:
On 11/7/16 I truly knew that God had a plan for me. Part of his plan was for me to move to Columbus so I could find Him. I remember we were in the middle of a song, and I just started to ball my eyes out. I had felt this warmth take over me. For the first time in my life, I felt as if I was connected to something bigger than myself.
Prayer in Schools In 1962 the Engel versus Vitale lawsuit ended prayer in schools. I believe the intentions were good at the time, as it was to protect the first amendments rights of the pupils so that they would not be forced to pray outside of their faith. I believe everyone has the right to his or her own beliefs and should be able to pray to whatever faith they may practice.
Good morning brother and sister, I guess we finally got to the part I been waiting to write on... Moses up in the mountains with God.... the peoples promise they will obey what God have told them... they already saw the powers of God... they felt Him...and they see His wonders...
This ties in to Psalm 119:65. The Psalmist recognizes that while astray from God, affliction followed. It wasn’t until he realigned himself with God’s word that he was rid of spiritual discrimination and was able to receive knowledge from God. Scripture is indubitable. If we maintain God and His Word as central to everything we do, it will minimize the disconnect from God and thus minimize the potential for bad
"Blessed be Thou... for giving us life, for sustaining, and for enabling us to reach this day" (117). That is what Elie Wiesel, Holocaust survivor, said during his Nobel Prize Acceptance Speech in Oslo on December 10, 1986. Elie Wiesel, who was a Europeam Jew during the Holocaust, wrote a book called Night. It's about his life in the concentration camps and all the obstacles he faced during that time period of his life, including the death of his father. During the Holocaust, many Jews lost their identities, no longer feeling like the person they were before.
I had asked God to show me His love for me like if He needed to prove it. In my questioning and in my doubts, I made it seem as if I didn't trust Him. He took my hand and led me to a crowded street. I could barely see through all the crowd.
Prayer should be in the forefront of everything. The privilege of communicating with and co-laboring with God is a practice essential to fruitful work as a
While I was typing this to my aunt through Facebook, it got me thinking and realizing where I actually stood when it came to my religion. I was confused, worried, and curious. All those years at church in elementary school became unimportant. Everything I learned there was gone. I felt like I entered into a new world with much curiosity.
Prayer has been in our nation for a long time. Many people may say that praying is the best part of their day, but now the state board of regents has taken prayer out of our schools systems. Taking pray out of school was not that easy to do, because they had to go through many court cases. Many people may that we don't need to pray in our schools or even need prayer at all, but for me I think that christians need to take a stand, and put prayer back in our schools Nothing gets someone fired up than talking about religion.
Lastly, the "Sword of the Spirit," which is the Word of God, is the believer's offensive weapon. By diligently studying and applying Scripture, Christians gain the ability to counter spiritual attacks with truth and wisdom. Embracing the Armor of God is not a passive act; it requires intentional effort and a deep relationship with God. By actively living out these spiritual virtues, Christians become better equipped to face the challenges of life and to resist the temptations that might lead them away from their faith. The Power of Prayer in Protection
The last form of resistance was Spiritual Resistance. Upon viewing the title, most would associate the word “spiritual” with religious, which in most contexts are correct. But “spiritual” in this context also implies much, much more. The word “spiritual” also relates to the condition of the human spirit at all times. It is a subtle reference to the human condition as one would call it.
Spiritual development is exploring what it means to believe in God, and developing our relationship with God. Simon develop a strong belief for God. He believed that God had a special plan for him. Every week Simon would go to church and go to Sunday school, even if the teacher and the kids disliked him. Just so he could develop a stronger relationship with God.
Prayer in public schools became an issue in 1960. A woman by the name of Madalyn Murray O’Hair sued the Baltimore, Maryland school system, because her son William J Murray was allegedly being forced to participate in prayer at the public school he attended. The American Atheist Organization, alongside Madalyn’s actions consequently led to the Supreme Court ruling in the 1960s. On June 17, 1963, the Supreme Court published its ruling on the case. The Supreme Court ruled that Bible reading and prayer in schools were unconstitutional.
