Introduction
Aini and Laily (2010) conducted a cross sectional research involving three hundred preschool teachers which were drawn from selection population of twenty-five teachers from three different types of kindergarten found in the four states; Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern zone of west Malaysia. The purpose of this research is about assessing the level of preparedness of preschool teacher in imparting environmental education (EE) into the young children. However, there is no aims and research questions is mention within the article.
In the introduction section, the authors mentioned about the environmental issues that need to be addressed in the country, there were many action was taken in the development plans but

The article is too wordy and certain statements are irrelevant to the study. it is also slightly difficult to understand the article that has no subheadings such as data analysis, procedure, and etc.
The worst and disappointed part is that this article does not have proof reading, there were several errors in spelling and also confusing statement. For example, “Unless children develop a sense of respect and caring for the natural environment during their early years, they are at risk of never developing such attitudes later in life” extracted from the article of Aini and Laily (2010) on page
273, the author have forgotten to insert ‘do not’ within the text between the word children and develop. For this particular statement, the authors trying to tell that if the children do not develop the sense of responsibility for the environment in their young ae then these children are at a high chance of never developed such attitudes in later years. Other than this, there is a word of
“principles” in the article page 275 where it was misspelled and it should be spelled as principals.
Overall, the article is properly referenced with APA style referencing and the
The people in the environment may also have a big effect on kids and their actions. “My eyes watered as i sat in the backseat of the cruiser, watching out the window as the two cops picked Shea up off the ground and led him toward the backseat with me. Shea winked at me as
The targets for this goal are going to be very difficult to measure as climate change is constantly evolving and data will therefore never be specific. “Measuring resilience and adaptive capacity to climate hazards and natural disasters in all countries” is going to be more complex than just collecting the occurrences of these climatic events. Similarly, every government is capable of observing and collecting data on their progress when considering the implementation of measures in target 13.2 and of education programs and the organization of awareness campaigns in target 13.3. However, the difficulty of measuring these targets is that their assessment is based on subjectivity, except for their financial aspect.
In the journal article, Tim Gill wrote about the society and also about the safety of children playing outside affecting child’s growth. All the safety was design to prevent injuries and protect children but actually children are getting more fragile because of the overprotective adults. He even showed concrete evidence to support his statement. Playground becomes too safe that more broken limbs among children occur these days and they have more scars. In addition to restricted freedom, children change in attitude to take risk in society which means they are afraid to take any risk in what they are doing in real world.
Having the right knowledge, skills and experience in understanding how children or young people develop are very important tools for early years practitioners. We must put to mind that each child born into this world is unique. Children are born with different characters, their personalities and behaviours are formed and influenced by a variety of factors. These factors may affect their ways of interacting with the environment and community or setting in which they live in.
Therefore, a child is more likely to be curious and explore the environment should there be a haven to return to which is given by the primary caregiver and by allow the child to do this, they will develop
Child development is an area of significant interest to professionals who deal with children on a daily basis. It is through child development theorists and their theories that we begin to form an understanding of how children develop emotionally and socially to become fully grown adults in society with a moral and emotional compass/. Teachers need to study child development in order to provide developmentally appropriate educational experiences for children. Health professionals also need to understand this area to support children in their physical, social, emotional and cognitive journey to becoming functioning adults in society. Childhood is a concept that is affected by social context and also by history. Here in the West childhood was not always considered to be a fundamental developmental phase in life with children in Victorian times working from as early as the age of four.
The core An ecological model by Bronfenbrenner illustrates (Appendix B) the levels of ecological impacts and systems that exist at several different but interrelated levels. It includes the core, based on individual genetics and developmental history, where the child’s biological and a physiological characteristic that includes his or her cognitive functions, socioemotional process and intrinsic motivation to respond to the environment (Bukatko and Daehler, 2004). Alexander was born at a normal weight and on the week of due date. With his parents healthy and very much active during weekends, genetics would not be a factor affecting Alexander’s physiological factor.
According to (King, 2008), child development involves in two theories which is nature and nurture. “The term nature refers to an organism’s biological inheritance. The term nurture refers to an organism’s environmental experiences”. The collaboration of nature and nurture, heredity and environment, influences every aspect of mind and behavior in child
One of the “three most important issues” in psychological development is nature and nurture. This issue involves the extent to which development is influenced by nature and by nurture. Nature refers to biology, where as nurture refers to environmental experiences. I grew up with my dad being in the military, which meant that respect and order were a constant in our house. I attended one of
Children look to their parent’s guidance and development. Parents are the first example and if the family environment is not healthy, the children could be subjected to a lacking strong physical development. “Effective parenting skills are fundamental to child development” (The Chief Public Health Officer 's Report, 2008). Children learn from their environment, if a child’s parent is not in the picture, children will learn from what surrounds them. For example, Genie did not speak because she was never spoken to as a child.
Introduction This essay is based on the comparison of psychosexual theories of Sigmund Freud and psychosocial theory of Erik Erikson. In this essay, similarities and the differences between these two theories are explained and outlined. The two famous theories of development are Sigmund Freud's psychosexual theory and Erik
Having the right knowledge, skills and experience in understanding how children or young people develop are very important tools for early years practitioners. We must put to mind that each child born to this world is unique; they are born with different characters and their personalities and behaviours are formed and influenced by variety of factors. These factors may affect their ways of interacting to the environment and community or setting in which they live in. In my experience as a child care practitioner most of the time, adults mainly focus on the physical development of a child and so quick to base their conclusion or judgement on the physical aspect.
Moreover, the parent’s role in shaping their child into a doctor, or an artist, or an athlete is far less significant than nurturing them to be the best person they can be. “Simply providing a warm, responsive environment is their most important job, because it allows the child’s tendencies and talents to flourish, but there 's a limit to what they can do” (Glass, 1999, 3). The idea of this research is nurture through nature. Each individual on the planet has their own unique genetic make-up, which to only a certain extent can be influenced. Rather than attempting to alter children into whom their parents want them to be, the best they can do for them is “nurture their
