President Abraham Lincoln was the best president between the three presidents. This is because he brought the nation through a very difficult time and managed to restore our nation to its fullest ability. "It was Lincoln 's leadership, his commitment to values, and his strong moral fiber that made it possible for America to find its way through the Civil War, and then to begin the healing process that would eventually lead the nation back to unity once again". I agree wiith this statement because not only did Lincoln return the nation back to unity but he also make huge changes that made the nation grow. He faced every challenge that crossed him and he not only defeated the challenges he helped the nation become bigger and better as a whole.
Abraham Lincoln was not only an advocate for the Union, but he was also a strong supporter of democracy and human rights. He firmly believed that all people were created equal and should have the opportunity to pursue happiness and freedom. His dedication to these ideals is evident in his leadership during the Civil War and in his actions to end slavery. In addition to the Emancipation Proclamation, Lincoln also supported the passage of the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, which abolished slavery and involuntary servitude in the United States.
Presidents have played innumerable roles throughout the course of history, but their effectiveness is often debated. Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Franklin D. Roosevelt are commonly considered the most effective presidents. They have made the country an improved place and advanced it in countless ways; however, one president stands above the rest. Franklin D. Roosevelt was the best US president because he allowed the government to have a more active role in the economy and connected with each individual. Throughout the course of American history, many powerful presidents have risen up. These people have completely changed the American lifestyle, mindset, and idea as to what a powerful leader should be. George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were great presidents but i believe that Abraham Lincoln was far better. He abolished slavery and held the country together during one of it's hardest times and doing all this with the pressure of an entire country relying on him. But it would have been better if he wasn't killed during his term I beleive that if he wouldn't have died America would be doing a lot better then it is now Lincoln would have been an amazing president if he didn't die he probably would have served another term or two. Even though everyone loved George Washington, Lincoln was also very popular among the people he also had the potential to make America a way better place.
Ulysses S. Grant- The Best President in the United States was in the time of 1869-1877. Working to help rebuild the homes and towns that were destroyed, and build the feelings with one and another especially in the south with reconstruction. Who do you think was our greatest president? Between Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson, I believe that Lincoln was the strongest. Lincoln managed to bring our nation through the Civil War, "one of the bloodiest and costliest in the Nation 's history" (Stone 6) with his "leaderhship, his commitment to values, and his strong moral fiber" (Stone 3). He used various strategies to survive the war, including having advisors from the opposite viewpoint to be aware of both sides of every issue. What Lincoln is remembered most for, however, is his efforts to abolish slavery, which are considered "his greatest contribution to the history of America" (Stone 5).
There have been debates on which president was the strongest. The top three would be President Washington, Lincoln, and Jefferson. Jefferson is the best because. Jefferson made the declaration of Independance, contributed to the expansion of the country, and had a lot of other accomplishments.
Our nation has had many great leaders and presidents. Many people could argue for hours over who was the best president and why. For me, the top three presidents were Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson. They were each great for many different reasons and without them our nation wouldnt be the way it is today but personally, i think George Washington was the best and most influlential president. If you ask anyone in America who were the top leaders of our nation, Geroge Washington would almost always be on the top of most people list.
President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated on the evening of April 14, 1865 at a play at Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D. C. He was accompanied by his wife, Mary Lincoln, and Major Henry Rathbone and Miss Clara Harris, his future fiancee; the Lincoln’s were in a relatively good mood having ended the civil war. The four sat together in a private balcony box. The murderer, John Wilkes Booth, a famous actor of that play, hated Lincoln’s reforms. At around 10:00 pm, when the play was ending, Booth had walked past Major Henry Rathbone and shot Lincoln in the head. He then cut Rathbone’s arm and lept off to the stage, protecting himself and fleeing from the crime scene.
Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson out of all of these presidents i think that Lincoln is the strongest because not only did he keep the nation from seperating and falling apart during the civil war but he outlawed slavery 2 of the biggest mile achievements and milestones for independence and american history. One of the reason lincoln was the strongest president out of these 3 presidents was because as a president he went through the most of all of them" it was Lincoln 's leadership, his commitment to values, and his strong moral fiber that made it possible for America to find its way through the Civil War." (stone, paragraph 2) In a way president Washington went through a civil war also but He didnt go through it as a president

In America we have had many presidents, they have done their job to get America this far. I would have to say that president Ronald Reagan would be my choice in who I think was the best President. I know I wasn 't alive when he was president but if I could I would like to live that time period. President Ronald Reagan was the 40th president. When president Reagan was elected on November 4, 1980 he was the oldest man ever elected at the age of 69.
