Diana: the people’s princess and hero
"Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you" this is a quote from Princess Diana biography and it is the idea, the motto that she followed her whole life.
Diana, Princess of Wales was born the 1st of July 1961 and died the 31 she was the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales, who is the eldest child of Queen Elizabeth II. She was the fourth child of John Spencer, she grew up in Park House, owned by Queen Elizabeth II, and was educated in England and Switzerland. In 1975, she became Lady Diana Spencer because her father got the title "Earl Spencer". She was the centre of worldwide media during and after her marriage, which ended in divorce on 28 August 1996. Media attention and public mourning were extensive after her death in a car crash in Paris on 31 August 1997.
But as we can see from her life Diana wasn’t just a princess, a wife or a mother she was also a role model and an inspiration for many people around the world, because of her humanitarian work that change the lives of many people around the world. She was one of the most loved person of the 20th century and an icon that is still followed and admired.

Because of her courage and strength she helped not only children in Africa or dying people but also common men and women to overcome their fear and deal with their personal issues. This is proven above all by what happened after her death, on one hand the crowds of people that followed her funeral worldwide but on the other hand the people that decided to kill themselves because their one true role model, the woman that had helped them overcome their terrible illness or problem was

She was a courageous Union spy and American actress. Not only was she a mother of three, but she also had a total of three husbands.
She was one of the earliest civil rights leaders. Without her, there wouldn't be many of the civil rights leaders that we know today. She had inspired many. Furthermore, Ida helped found the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Also, she dedicated her life to end the practice of lynching.
Second, she helped against inhumane actions. Evidence of this is that slavery is now outlawed as being inhumane. This means that she was doing what is now considered right. Another piece of evidence is that she saved people from being worked and beaten to death. This means she saved people from a slow and painful death.
Jane Addams life as a child was not easy, she had a congenital spinal defect which led to her never being physically strong and her father who served for sixteen years as a state senator and fought as an officer in the Civil War always showed that his thoughts of women were that they were weak, and especially her with her condition. But besides that she lived a very privileged life since her father had many famous friends like the president Abraham Lincoln. Jane was determined to get a good education which she ended up getting. She went to Rockford sanitary for women which is now called Rockford University and she also studied to be a doctor but had to quit because she was hospitalised too many times. Being sick affected her life very much so when she got older she remedied her spinal defect with surgery.
Another one of her great qualities is that she was brave. She wasn’t ever afraid of the stigma women had in that time. Flying across the Atlantic Ocean takes a lot of bravery. What she did for women all around the world is truly amazing. In her books and through her actions she inspired women everywhere to do what they want and be what they want to be.
